One night stay on our way to OBX.

Hotel room was clean. Sink didn’t drain. Some mold around tub. Breakfast room was closed. We were given a $10 credit, perhaps because the breakfast room is closed. Hotel staff was very nice very friendly and helpful. Our room was very soundproof as there was a large group of young men staying upstairs and we heard nothing.

The room itself is functional. Not clean, however. Leaky sinks, mold, and there were roaches. The blankets were dirty on the edges. The staff was very sweet.

Everything about our stay was disappointing. The reception area was very tired looking and staff were not welcoming. The rooms were dingy and smelt musty. I didn't dare put my bare feet on the carpet - ugh. It was impossible to get a hot shower - surely a basic necessity. The bedsheets and towels were clean - thankfully. If you're thinking about booking this Econo Lodge, think again.

Decent for Econo Lodge!

As far as Econo Lodges go, this was pretty decent! For the price, you can't expect too much, and the room was extremely basic. However, check in was very efficient and the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again for a budget trip and proximity to Williamsburg center.

The staff were friendly and nice to work with. My room was simple but clean and well kept. But the area around the hotel seemed a bit older and run down. Nevertheless, it was a good value and I would consider staying there again.

I had no issues with cockroaches in the rooms, which was a relief after reading other people's complaints. The staff was friendly, and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. The property could be in better condition considering the price, but it was satisfactory. Nearby hotels and motels aren't great either.

Too pricey for the value

Bathtub had green something all over the drain so we wouldn’t put or feet in the tub for a much needed shower. No continental breakfast- misleading when sure it was listed at time of booking. No attendant in the office for checkout. Quiet area so sleep was good

Front desk was accommodating in room preference. Sign in the room says there is a Continental breakfast, but when I went was told it's not served in that area of town and pointed to a faded card on the counter that said it. We spilled a little water on the floor and wiped it up with a white napkin to find the napkin turned black! The bottoms of our socks are also black from the floor. I reported this when we checked out hoping some much needed mopping will be done. Had some trouble second night regulating the hot water in the shower. Toilet was wobbly. We both slept reasonably well though, the beds were comfortable.
