"The hotel is a really impressive building and well located for views of Taipei, although use of the MRT, buses and bikes is needed to access most of the city. A shuttle bus is provided to guests every ~15 mins to the nearby MRT stations which is great for those carrying suitcases. It's also fairly easy to walk to Jiantian station as long as you are ok with stairs. The Shilin neighbourhood is in walkng distance and has good attractions, food, and a night market Hotel rooms were clean and beds very comfortable, good tea and coffee are provided in rooms, temperature controls were a little tricky to figure out but the air conditioning worked well overall. Baths and showers were great, very clean and large, water pressure and temperature were good The economy tarriff is very well priced and allows access to great amenities such as the outdoor pool (which was a good facility) however there is no window in the room guests must pay for access to the restaurants and breakfasts which are relatively expensive. We went to local restaurants rather than eating at the hotel for this reason - although I understand the food is good! The basement bar and tunnel are good attractions, with an impressive cocktail list including bespoke cocktails made with various Taiwanese ingredients and skilled bartenders. It may be worth spending more money than we did to have a window viewing Taipei and access to hotel breakfast buffet! But overall a very comfortable stay."

"Very nice smaller hotel .The room was very spacious & clean . The hot springs tub was great to use after a long day walking . The toilet very clean & bidet was nice addition . Surprisingly quiet stay even though our room was next to the elevators , from inside our room we didn't hear them even once . They give you use of a small fridge ( unlike most hotels are loaded with expensive crap to make more money ) their's isempty for you to use.The bed was nice , aircon also & easy to adjust . Only small complaint was a very small trash can that we overfilled a couple times . The hotel is in a very nice part of town & very close to the MRT station. Being close to an MRT station gives you easy access to all of Taipei"

"The main thing about this hotel is the views and the hot spring in room. Those were amazing and it is the main reason why you should go. The staff was very helpful and the room was decent. It is more expensive but the experience was good. Breakfast is decent and standard. Overall enjoyed the experience, perfect for a quick weekend getaway to relax with a private in room hot spring!"

"The basic room is cheap for reasons: below ground level, no windows, right next to the laundry room (so noisy). However, I still think it's a good deal in this area for this price."

"They have got an excellent restaurant for impressive dinner menu and an amazing variety of breakfast. Both the public and private bath in the room were amazing. Since we have stayed 2 nights at the hotel, we get to try different onsen there (they swap the female and male onsen area every night). The location is also very close to the metro station with a number of restaurants nearby. "
