Top Carmel Hotel Reviews

Stilwell Hotel

Stilwell Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Property was so well appointed and very chic. Complimentary breakfast was so much more than expected. Eggs, breads, salads, fresh smoothies and so much more. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved drinking a glass of wine snuggled in a blanket by the outdoor fire pits. Definitely will be staying at the Stilwell again on my next trip to Carmel!"

"The location was great! We were able to find the parking right in front of the property too. The motel is old but charming. No elevator. I will request the first floor room next time."

"Staff was very kind and helpful. It was very peaceful and quiet and very beautiful to sit and watch the sunset or even take a dinner walk. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. We had a shower water overflow problem at night and they made sure to get us to another room right away and help us with our bags while moving over rooms. Great place and i would 100% stay here again. Thank you to the great staff for making this such a pleasant stay!"

Carmel Bay View Inn

Carmel Bay View Inn

8/10 Good
"This is a large facility and we were fortunate to have a 4th floor room which has a nice (partial) view of the ocean. We were within walking distance of downtown Carmel which was very helpful; we could leave the car parked in front of the room. The room was comfortably large, not cramped at all. We liked having a luggage rack for both of us--that doesn't usually happen. The breakfast was very nice--both hot and cold foods. Being on the 4th floor, an elevator was extremely helpful."

"Great boutique hotel in Carmel. Close to the main areas in Carmel. Great customer service. Lovely comfortable rooms while not huge are beautiful furnished. Great free extras provided from early morning coffee, a delicious buffet breakfast with egg station, afternoon wine and not forgetting the wonderful chocolate chip cookies in the evening. A real treat."
