"Romms are very small for &1,300 per day. Noise is unbearable. Large wedding party without advising the prospective guests. Noise from other rooms is loud. Very late check in. Ocean views are very far and small."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Tradewinds in Carmel. The staff was helpful and friendly...our room was charming The fireplace was a lovely surprise... Our Saturday morning breakfast was fresh and healthy! If we find ourselves in Carmel again, we would choose to stay at Tradewinds."

"Everything was really good. It’s a good location for someone who doesn’t want to stay right in the town. We were initially situated in a suite near the laundromat and it was very loud. Front desk was quick to offer us another room. Unfortunately, housekeeping missed us and for a hotel where we’re paying a resort/facility fee + parking fee, it was a little disappointing. But, again, front desk was able to bring us some fresh towels. The restaurant Shearwater is amazing; great service & food with live music."

"Adorable aesthetic on an older style hotel that they’ve done a decent job keeping up. The rooms are simple but cozy and feel pretty clean. The staff are very friendly and pet friendly. The breakfast is fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee. Very walkable to downtown too."
