"Nice, older hotel. Big rooms. Needs a little updating. Parking an issue."

"Overall a good experience, the room was clean and that’s really what matters. The room itself wasn’t quite as modernly furnished as the pictures make it seem. The most frustrating part is they charge a $30 parking fee per night and $10 facilities fee that is not clearly stated. This is a rip off in my opinion and should be more clearly stated, especially given there is no lack of parking on the grounds. Overall a good stay, but be aware it is a minimum of $40 more than it appears."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. The outside seating lovely. Breakfast was great and if you don’t order a pizza and salad and sip some wine outside on that patio in front of the fire you have missed a lot"

"Love the staff. Always excellent, especially the valet staff and restaurant staff. We have stayed here before and it’s just a beautiful property with spacious rooms and amazing views. I just would prefer higher quality toilet paper (lol!)"

"This place is so lovely! The staff was great, very helpful and welcoming. It’s centrally located to Carmel by the sea, Monterey and Big Sur. We got a renovated bathroom which was great. The bed was so comfortable. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony which we enjoyed. The little cabins look very nice and well kept. We hope to stay in one next time. Highly recommend this place. "
