Be one of many who have stayed in this light and bright condo in the heart of Carlsbad Village. (Carlsbad STVR#1242819) Total remodel is finished creating a light, bright, open space. The theme of light and bright is realized with mainly creamy whites and aquamarine blues to lend a feeling of calm.... complimented with splashes of bright, happy colors that exude FUN! This unit is a desirable END unit. No one is above, below, or on one side!!

Walk out the door and you are within 1 block of one of California's most desired beaches- a six mile stretch of white sand with a well designed boardwalk for walking or running. Explore the unique boutiques, restaurants and entertainment just steps away in Carlsbad Village. Outdoor concerts, unique shopping, fabulous restaurants, street fairs, and even a marathon are a sampling of the varied activities to enjoy.

The condo feels fresh and clean with new everything! We have tile floors in the main living area/bathroom, and warmer wood floors in the bedroom. Sink into the new king size bed with high quality mattress and linens to feel totally cozy and comfortable. There is also a high quality, slipcovered queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Please Strip the beds (not bed spread or comforter,) only sheets and pillowcases) and put on bathroom floor with all used towels.
Put all dishes in dishwasher and start it. Take all trash and recycle out.

Best Location with Comfort and Style

I very much enjoyed time to myself after a week with family at Thanksgiving. Walking to both the Village or the beach was only steps away and no car needed!

Nice Place

The location is superb - a short walk to the beach yet equally close to Carlsbad’s downtown, which is quaint with multiple choices of restaurants. They clearly enjoyed decorating their “apartment” with a seaside mermaid theme. The heat pumps operation was confusing, but got them to work. Overall, a very nice stay.

Perfect holiday at Bella Sirena.

Great Place in a Great Town

Very happy with the stay. Close to beach, close to village restaurants. Well stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Wish it was not so close to the train tracks as the Coaster starts early in the morning, but obviously not something the owner controls.

Great Location

We had an excellent experience with the property owner. The property is very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a quick beach getaway. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and the beach. Will definitely go back!

Carlsbad Trip

This is our second stay at this condo and we loved it just as much as the first time. The condo is so cute, has everything you need, has the perfect location within walking distance of the village and great restaurants, and the beach. You couldn’t ask for more!

Our second time staying at this location. Highly recommend this second floor unit. Privacy plus, as not unit under it and only one unit next to it. Unit was clean, comfortable large king bed, well supplied with everything you need for your stay. Communication excellent with owner. Have fun

Great Place to Stay with Two Cons

The location is great. The condo was clean and well stocked. Timothy was great to work with. Our only cons were the train runs all night. By the 4th day, we kind of got used to it. The other con was the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Other than that, great place to stay.

A slice of paradise

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was so cutely decorated with a very beach vibe. The condo was well appointed and was stocked extremely well for cooking meals. Such a bonus to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. We come to Carlsbad every summer for a week and multiple times a year for a long weekend. We will definitely be booking with this property again in the near future. The proximity to everything in the village was amazing and the beach a short one block walk. Everything was perfect!!

Good Place But…

The condo was good. It was clean. TV did not work! Remote was not good. Was told a new one was on the way didn’t happen. It was cold and rainy so tv was important. Overall Gage House is looking run down. Several steps were in need of repair. Laundry facilities have gone down. This wasn’t owner’s issue but HOA IS DEFINITELY LACKING.

Great location in Carlsbad

We loved our month long stay at this location. Best part: we were a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk into the Village. The unit was clean and comfortably updated. We cooked at home many nights and there was adequate cookware to enable it. The shared laundry has an app so I did not have to hoard quarters, which was nice. As others have said, there is a train that runs right through Carlsbad. You’ll hear it. But we enjoyed being able to walk to the train and took it quite a few times into Encinitas, O-Side and San Diego. We loved it here and will stay at this rental again.

Great location. Super clean.

This unit was incredibly clean and well appointed (although we didn't use the kitchen this trip.) The furniture was comfortable and looked fairly new. Easy check-in/check-out and communication with the owner was straightforward and responsive. The unit is in a great location and we never needed to use our car once we parked. Our only complaint would be that it was hot. We happened to be in Carlsbad during a weekend with unusually high humidity, especially for a beach community in October. The unit doesn't have AC, which admittedly most units do not in the area, nor is it likely needed very often. But being on the second floor, it was hot. We utilized all the fans and had the windows opened at night, but it made for hot sleeping. As long as the weather is not too hot, you'll have a very comfortable stay here!
