Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

10/10 Excellent
"My young son and I traveled to Baha Mar the last week of July 2026. We had a blast! Spent days at the pool, beach and waterpark. Pros: 1- Free non-motorized water sports. 2- Beautiful property 3- Nice clean rooms with a huge soaking tub. Cons: 1- Food pricing is OUTRAGEOUS and basic. Everything but Bahamian food 🙄 Stix is the most affordable and best food I had all week. We ate there most nights. Love the staff and manager. The buffet appears to only open for breakfast during the week. Ex. A slice of cheese pizza $12.50, cheapest steak at steakhouse starts at $95 and sides are à la carte. Thank God I had the taxi stop at the store so I could grab water, snacks and breakfast items. Most meals run $80-$100/per person. The vat and service fee pretty much automatically adds 25% to your bill. 2- Not many organized activities for kids outside of the water. So, nothing for kids after dinner besides the water show that goes every few minutes. Junkanoo band comes through once or twice a week, which is cool. The shark and stingray exhibit is closed most of the time. We stayed at Atlantis the year prior. Both resorts are good in their own right. I loved our stay but Atlantis has the edge when it comes to activities and food, honestly. Worth the visit but if you don’t have a big party to make (taxis) affordable to visit the fish fry daily, just know that you will spend just as much on food as you did the vacation. That’s the whole truth and nothing but the truth! 🙏"

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort & Casino by IHG

"Great location, clean facilities, plenty of meal options throughout hotel and nearby. The beds were very comfortable but they are full size not queen which made it tough for young adults to share beds. The rooms were on the smaller size but adequately furnished. Could use more hooks to hang wet towels and bathing suits but otherwise had a pleasant stay."

Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent
"Our trip was during the first week of August 2026. I only have good things to say about this trip. This is my third Riu All-inclusive Hotel that I have beento, and like the other two Riu's, they never dissapoint. I am a 63 yr old grandmother, and on this trip I went with my 18 year old college bound grandson. We are on oppposite ends of life-experiance and view-of-the-world- spectrum and it worked. We did stuff together, and went our own ways too. We both had a wonderful time. The facility was in excellent condition and exceeded my expectations - I had read that they had been undergoing renovations; those renovations are completed. Both grandson and I had a wonderful time. There was buffet style dining, and fine dining. All were excellent. It was very easy for us to eat healthy - lots of fresh foods. One could go in a different direction with amazing desert options. Lots of entertainment and activities. At night my grandson participated in these, while I went to bed : ) All staff members we interatcted with were excellent. Our room was clean, and had a balcony with a view of the Carribean Ocean. We didn't want to go back home - I seriously considered adding another two days onto this trip, but did not want to loose a day making phone calls to set that up."
