"We booked this property at the last minute as our original choice in Tropea was WELL below standard. Gianfranco was very quick to respond and accommodate our suddent change in plans. He readied the house in a few hours for an early check in and even met us in the town piazza to guide us directly to the house. He was an excellent, responsive host. "Wir hatten zu 5 ein Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und angrenzendem extra Zimmer gebucht. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Von der Terasse hatte man einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer und den Stromboli mit spektakulären Sonnenuntergängen Pool- und Gartenanlage war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und schön. "The hotel was very well maintained. The room was clean, had refrigerator and nice shower . The staff is very friendly and efficient. The hotel situated on the top of the hill about 10 minutes walking from the center, 15 minutes walking from the beach, and 6 minutes walking from the train station. There are tons of great restaurants in the center. I booked this hotel because the website states that it has pool and sauna, The pool was great and clean, but I found out that If you want to use sauna, you have to pay for it separately €20/40minutes, also the use of the beach towel is €3 per use. If you want to use shuttle to the beach it is €20 at scheduled times. Breakfast was great, but would not recommend it for dinner. I only booked dinner one time, because they had local musicians playing Calabrian music. The music and performance were great, but the food tasted like warmed up frozen dinners and wine was not included in the price of the dinner (€35). They have good variety of massages and almost everyday, as an addition include complimentary mini facial , I think the name of the massage girl was Vincenza, she was really great. You just have to book your appointment at the front desk during morning time. Overall great hotel, would stay here again."
