Its all the little details that make this place so incredible. The artwork, the decor, the homemade breakfasts. The owners and staff were super nice! The vila is in the small town of Colares and is a short drive into Sintra. We wanted to stay near Sintra, but wanted to avoid the crowds and Vila Vitorino was perfect! Great price for what you get, if we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again. Loved it!! "

"What a magical place! It’s like you stepped back in time when you arrive at this Quinta, surrounded by lush gardens. The woman who owns it grew up there and has so many fascinating stories to share about the house. Although it’s down a narrow gravel road, it’s easily accessible by car, Uber, and even Uber eats if you decide to order in. On the day we were without a car, were able to walk to the main road where there is a bus service to a lot of the sites in Sintra—though it was hard to leave the enchanting property. And my 8 year old son wanted me to mention that he found a lizard in the bathroom and had a lot of fun and the lizard was super cute."
