"Absolutely loved our stay! It was everything and more that we wanted. Such a beautiful setup, a beautiful area, a beautiful vibe (so peaceful and relaxing) and a beautiful stay. The simplicity of lighting the fire and relaxing, with no city noise was wonderful. Will recommend to anyone seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of life. Very comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay was there, and even fresh eggs, milk, jam, etc! And all homemade! 10/10"

"We stayed in July 2026, with one night a minus 2 degrees. The cottage lay out and the large heat pump was able to keep us all toasty warm. The cottage is lovely and has everything you could possibly need, we very much enjoyed our stay in Martinborough. Beds were very comfortable with good quilts too. Easy walking or biking distance from the town is another plus."

"Perfect for a solo traveler needing seclusion. The property has potential to be beautiful but the main house is a bit of a junkyard. Parking needs to be laid out better and signage would be helpful. Stayed only 1 rainy night but would have loved a day to explore the surrounding bush. Enjoyed the sunken bathtub and the foam mattress was comfortable. The space heater was perfect to warm up the room. Personally I think the cost was a bit high in comparison to nicer places."
