Ho prenotato per conto dei miei genitori quindi scrivo da parte loro. Il luogo è incantevole, paradisiaco, assolutamente tranquillo è immerso nella natura Toscana, in un piccolo borghetto. Il castello è propio come nelle foto, particolare, ordinato, pulito e rustico. Il personale è assolutamente cordiale e disponibile. Consiglio vivamente a tutti un pernottamento anche solo per staccare la spina per una notte.

Superbe site, avec vue panoramique imprenable. Hôtes très accueillants, Dario et Marie. In questo B&B nei pressi di Lucca (circa una trentina di chilometri), situato in collina in una bellissima posizione, abbiamo trovato un ambiente confortevole dal sapore antico e poetico impreziosito dalla simpatia e gentilezza dei titolari.... veramente bravi ... ci è piaciuto molto

We all loved our stay at San Gennaro Castello! We are a family of four and we chose to stay here because of its great location, allowing us to visit Pisa, Lucca and Florence! We felt really welcomed and nothing was too much trouble to ask for, we will definitely stay again!

Beautiful area but need car

Lovely place in beautiful area away from the crowds. We used it as a base for Lucca. Wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a car though you can take a cab to it. A bit difficult to find, up narrow windy roads on the hilltop. Hosts are very personable and welcoming. Speak both Italian and English fluently. Very spacious. Food is very good. Would also be good for a family.

Excellent character property with warm welcome

We thought this was a lovely B&B. We were made really welcome by the owner. The bedroom was roomy, characterful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room full of fascinating football related pictures and some memorabilia. The property sits at the top of a nice Tuscan village with great views. We think this B&B is a real treat and highly recommended.

Il turista da spennare: soggiorno orribile

Purtroppo è il classico caso in cui pensi di pagare per una stanza caratteristica,ben arredata e confortevole e ti ritrovi in un tugurio. Arriviamo al b&b in tarda serata e il proprietario ci ha dato indicazioni per raggiungere la nostra stanza ubicata in un altro posto,non al b&b. All'arrivo ci aspettano 2 persone, non personale del b&b ma semplicemente i vicini di casa,che ci fanno entrare in questa brutta palazzina. Entriamo e ci troviamo in un appartamentino con 2 stanze, di cui una occupata da un signore (state tranquilli, è una brava persona!) e l'altra per noi. La porta d'ingresso principale non si chiude,mentre per la stanza abbiamo la classica chiave che apre tutte le stanze...ma per fortuna l'altro ospite è una brava persona. Il problema è che il proprietario non ci aveva avvertito che avremmo dormito con uno sconosciuto, almeno a saperlo! Entriamo in camera e ci troviamo di fronte ad una stanza triste, arredata alla bene e meglio: soffitto con muffa, la testiera del letto in velluto scolorito ed impolverato, i mobili vecchi in legno impolverati,il copriletto rosa plastica con bruciature di sigaretta ed il bagno con mobili arrabattati. Ma la cosa migliore sono state le cimici sulle tende (poco meno di 10!) e la temperatura gelata della stanza. Per risolvere,le tende sono state buttate fuori dalla finestra. La temperatura invece è quella e ce la siamo tenuta (condizionatori no?!?). Risultato raffreddore al mattino e il proprietario non ci ha nemmeno salutato. 90€ !!!

Kleines Schmuckstück

Nachdem wir das Hotel gefunden haben haben wir uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Von außen sieht es aus wie aus eine Bilderbuch. Oben vom Parkplatz hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Unser Zimmer war sauber und groß. Wir wurden toll empfangen und haben uns als Gast sehr wohlgefühlt. Die anderen Gäste waren international sehr gemischt. Wenn wir uns morgens für das Abendessen angemeldet haben konnten wir uns etwas wünschen was wir essen möchten, das war super. Aber auch spontan haben wir etwas Leckeres bekommen. Von dort aus konnten wir viele Städte und Aktivotäten guz mit drm Auto errrichen. Insgesamt ein sehr schnuckeliges , schönes B&B , das ich gerne wieder besuchen möchte. :-)

Hermoso lugar. Retirado pero cerca de todo. Habitacion amplia, comoda y de calidad. Dario, dueño del hotel es un excelente anfitrion. Te hace sentir como en tu casa y cocina maravillosamente. Te orienta para visitar lugares con mucho conocimiento. A mi me gusta conducir por lo q volveria sin dudas. Eso si.... Dario tiene q mejorar en la play!!!!
