"La mia esperienza è stata positiva. Ambiente ospitale e pulito. Mi dispiace non aver trovato né l'asciugacapelli in camera né il telecomando dello splitter per scaldare leggermente la camera"

"Roberta was extremely accommodating and helpful. They have bikes that can be used to ride the walls of Lucca. Great experience for those that have never done it. "

XII century farmhouse on the hills above Lucca with chef. Only local food.
10/10 Excellent
"Our host was simply wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. This was a delightful gathering of friends in Lucca. I definitely recommend having Monica cook a meal for you one night while you stay- you will not be disappointed. I also recommend buying some of Monica's cheeses to enjoy while you are there- they pair perfectly with local meats, and you cannot get fresher cheese than this. Hospitality and responsiveness was wonderful- and they have many great insights on things to experience in the area. This was truly a wonderful and special visit."
VILLA CARNICELLI eco-friendly,sustainable, 450m² (4,850ft²),private pool, design
10/10 Excellent
"Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for those nights when cooking in. Home was set up as a home away from home with spacious rooms and comfy beds. Home was ideal for several quests with each having their own space. Best of all were the hosts - if we could give 10 stars we would. They were so helpful and easy to get in touch with and they were full of ideas and suggestions of what to do and where to go - they were amazing!"
"The weather didn’t permit much time in the pool (it was somewhat chilly) but when we did use the pool, it was fabulous. The house was very comfortable and basic amenities were provided. The property manager, Franco, was wonderful. He responded immediately to calls or emails and recommendations were terrific."
"Isabella is a gift. Small misunderstanding on check in as to where the property was but handled well. Location was private and just what we wanted and expected "
Villa Magnolie, a 5 bedrooms Traditional Villa in Lucca with Private Garden in the Hamlet of Vorno
10/10 Excellent
"Quaint old world Italian Villa. There were 10 of us. Myself and my partner, two daughters and spouses and four grandchildren. The villa was very spacious with three large sitting rooms, five bedrooms and four large bathrooms that accommodated our needs well. The kitchen held a large table and we also had a large dining room. The outdoor space was beautiful with a nice sitting area and a beautiful banquet table that overlooked the Gardens and the mountains. when we had our private chef come to the house we actually ate outside because it was such a pleasant space. The location was perfect for us because we had rented two cars to go into Lucca which was a 20 minute drive. There we also were able to take the train to travel to Florence or other destinations. Pisa was an approximately 35 minute drive from this location. After a busy day of traveling seeing the sites in Italy , it was a peaceful home to return to and relax for the evening. "
"The property was a little tricky to find as it is off the main roads and down a windy, narrow gravel path. It's about a 30 minute drive to Lucca. The private pool is lovely, and all the flowers and succulents are beautiful. Giacomo and Jessica were very responsive when we had questions, and it was wonderful that they let us check in early.Pool towels are provided, but only one bath towel is given per guest for the entire week/stay. Guests should note that hand soap, toilet paper, laundry soap, and other basic items are not provided. You will need to purchase them locally or bring your own. The neighbors in the connected building were rather disruptive (loud conversations at 100 am, their dogs barking during the night). There is an AC unit up and downstairs, and you pay per usage. If you go in peak summer, it will not keep the villa cool so be prepared for very warm days and evenings or pack a fan.Overall, a secluded retreat with a beautiful view and nice pool."
