Good home base for skiing Louise and Sunshine. The scenic drive to and from the venues is spectacular. Canmore is a thriving little mountain town with scenic views all around including the famous 3 sisters towering mountain peaks. All together, a viable alternative to Banff. Dont forget to purchase individual park passes at the Banff Nationsl Park gates. There may be random checkpoints at ski hills or elsewhere.
