"This rental was absolutely perfect, my family decided on gem mining for vacation. This place is perfectly tucked away but close enough to Asheville and the mines. The creek in the back yard gave a perfect soundtrack to unwinding in the evening and collecting thoughts as the sun burns through the fog. I highly recommend staying here"

"Everything was good at the condo except the TV. It is wireless and signal kept dropping. Some nights worse than others. Sometimes signal would drop for a minute or so multiple times during an hour show. Very aggravating. I would not rent this unit again because of the reception. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Would rent a different unit in Creekside Way. Quiet, peaceful and pretty views."

"My husband and I spent the month of July relaxing in delight at Deer Haven Cabin, away from the Florida heat! We barbecued, used the fire pit, and spent many evenings sitting in the well-maintained hot tub while we watched fireflies and counted the many stars! The cooler mountain days and nights on the amazing wrap-around porch were totally captivating, as we brought our Bird Buddy camera bird feeder and a couple of hummingbird feeders and caught so much of the local bird activity. We took countless photos of the many deer who make their home on this mountain. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfy. There were some maintenance issues that we feel were the result of shorter-term guests who did not communicate them to the very responsive property management team. For the benefit of future guests, the steep gravel driveway to the cabin was a bit scary to me, and every floor in this quaint cabin squeaks when you walk, Modern electronics and good Internet service rounded out this memorable trip for us! Worthy of your attention for sure!"
