We had our kids with us and the owner of the property was very welcoming and kind to all of us and told us where everything was and hope we enjoyed our stay. Was very nice place and would book again if we have to stay in Cambridge again
very convenient location and a access to a well equipped kitchen. the window did not open which was odd. the room was spacey and the bed wide (though rather soft). was welcomed by a fellow guest who stayed long term and helped out, very homely
Lovely owner, very friendly and professional. Room was spacious clean and comfortable, shared bathroom kept to impeccable standards, would recommend staying here highly! Will be returning on my next visit to Cambridge! Thank you for a lovely stay
As a guesthouse it exceeded expectations. A very polite and approachable owner and the rooms were clean and well maintained. There was a slight fragrance that irritated me on arrival but was cleared with minimal ventilation. The only negative was noise pollution from other users of the building (a wedding party and a fighting couple), for which the owner has apologised and was clearly beyond his control. However I would recommend this place and realise my experience is somewhat atypical. I hope to visit again, perhaps in the summer!

I stayed in the single with a private bath. The room was clean, comfortable, roomy. The bath was convenient. There was a fridge, microwave, and kettle, all of which was very convenient. The location was an easy walk to University of Cambridge, the commons, and to many nice pubs, bakeries, and 2 co-ops. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt very comfortable at all times. The host provided excellent directions for getting into the room and was always available. I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Communication was awful. I eventually got a reply 17 hours after first messaging. I had to message as the phone came up as unavailable multiple times with multiple phones. I travelled to Cambridge thinking the guest house must have shut and I would have to find an alternative. Solving this problem wasted part of my short visit. The place was student standard with the grotty shower room through a kitchen and conversations in other rooms could easily be heard, thankfully the other guests were quiet. Only go here if you want real economy.
Nice and clean, around 100 years old architecture was quite pretty. Location was really close to the city centre, especially to the river Cam panting place where Magdalene college is. Close to Jesus green park where is just over the bridge on river cam.
Friendly owner. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. House is located within 10 minutes from city centre. This is a shared accommodation and the experience depends on the other guests.
