"The Anam is arguably one of THE best hotels we’ve ever stayed in ( and we’ve travelled a lot!) The attention to detail is unrivalled and the staff are absolutely excellent and simply cannot do enough to make your stay more enjoyable. It’s very difficult to name particular members of staff but Min, Nhu, Danny, Hein, Lin, Vin and all the management team were exceptional. We cannot wait to return next year! "Voted #1 resort in Southeast Asia and #1 in Asia, it is a very big resort with all the amenities and entertainment you can think of. Spacious rooms, staff were nice but didn’t seem overall as friendly as other places like in Hue and Da Nang. It’s a big resort, and they’re held to certain standards, so it almost felt so service-based. Didn’t like that we had to use their taxi service to get out and some of the drivers weren’t too familiar with the area. Grab isn’t allowed here so FYI. Breakfast buffet was average—huge selection but didn’t taste extraordinary. And dining options were super expensive for Vietnam so it makes you want to dine outside. Access to private beach and the golf carts to get around were nice. Enjoyed the quietness and security of the area. Just lots of walking, so be mindful if you’re traveling with any elderly or ones who cannot walk far without needing rest. Located on a “highway” so nothing in walking distance. Motorbike parking lot is a walk from the resort, so lots of waiting and walking to get to one place to the next. Perfect for families with kids who enjoy the pool and fun activities. Not so much for elderly in my opinion. It’s safe and secure and quiet, but gets too crowded and too much walking from one place to the next for elderly parent. Nice big gym with nice views. Didn’t get to experience pickleball, archery, tennis, bball courts. There’s a water theme park available too. Lots of fun activities available but will cost lots extra. "

"The apartment is very well appointed, full kitchen and dining rooms, very classy finishes. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which is really a 3 bedroom and they lock the door to one of the rooms, which has ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. Stunning views of the ocean from the rooftop, although there is no furniture up there to sit and enjoy. The private pool was a very nice tough and the main pool and restaurant were also good. The only issue I have with this hotel is its location (which I knew when booking). Other than the hotel restaurant, there is limited food options nearby. Cam Ranh is a drive and not really set up for tourists and Nha Trang is about 45 minutes away. If you want a secluded holiday, this may be good, but we felt a bit stuck at times."

"Loved everything except the beach was very dirty with lots of garbage. Likely not much the resort could do with it washing up but definitely could have cleaned it up more often. Long way to get a drink from beach with no waiters serving the beach area. Loved the room and the view and the food was good. "

"Overall a great hotel that lets itself down when it comes to looking after the beachside - I can’t understand why staff aren’t allocated to sort out the plastic and waste on the beach that’s clearly from hotel guests. Such a shame to see. Enjoyed great food at the Tropicana restaurant and breakfast was varied and high quality."

"The hotel is modern and clean, well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The exception are lifeguards at the beach. The rules of the hotel: guests are allowed to use the swimming pools and beach (as it is owned by hotel) only from 6 am to 6 pm. When I tried to swim after 6 pm even it was not dark and no waves, the life guards yelled, whistled and used sirena. We did not drink, good swimmers and careful. Very unpleasant experience: first time in our many trips that we were not allowed to use beach and pools after 6 pm. The question is: what to do in their hotel after 6 pm considering that the hotel is located 40 min drive to city? Their entertainment in the evening was also poor. The food in the buffet was not great. Even the hotel is "all included", the restaurant was not included. guests need to pay extra. The hours of buffet operation were limited: no food after 8:30 pm. Conclusion: the price (more than 1600 CAD for 8 nights) did not match the quality of the service."
