The space Spacious 2 bedroom basement suite with separate entrance (1050 sq ft) hosted by Kara. We have dogs and cats upstairs. Well behaved pets are welcome with additional cleaning and damage deposit.
Guest access The entire basement. Separate entry access from side of the house. Front yard with street parking.
Interaction with guests We would interact only if needed when checking in and out and anytime guests need help. If guests are staying longer than 1 week, we may check in to restock supplies. We live in the main floor above.
The neighbourhood The neighbourhood is quiet and also close to all amenities. Highway 1 is within 1 km and highway 2 is within 4 kms.

Enjoyed my stay. Met all my needs for comfort and convenience. Well equipped kitchen and on-site laundry were great. Close to groceries, banks, and public transit
I thought the decor was very welcoming, me and my family felt very comfortable. It truly was a home away from home, the only suggestion I would make is the beds were slightly uncomfortable. Not enough to make your night restless but I did leave with mild sore back. Other than that, I would recommend this place & I would definitely stay here again!

Needs work
We were very disappointed. The basement suite definitely needs a little TLC - dints in the drywall, moldy, dirty baseboards, scratched paint. We felt that the owner was trying to make money while putting into the accommodation as little as possible. We ran out of toilet paper and sheets and towels had definitely seen better times.
Great communication with Host. Great location for my family and I, as I am very familiar with North East Calgary. Very smooth check in and out. Would love to stay there again. Very reasonable price compared to a Hotel, where there is no privacy.
