"What my wife and I loved most about the property was the location. It was in close proximity to everywhere we needed to go. Our son attends Texas State University and his apartment was near us. The shopping outlets were also 10 minutes away. Restaurants are located all around the vicinity. The A/C blows very cold which is a most in Texas. At night our room was very quiet. The only 2 things we didn't like was no iron was available in our room. Also the TV was hit or miss, the signal was horrible. To be honest we plan to definitely come back and stay."

"It’s an old hotel, everything outside the room shows its age, but it’s very well maintained. The rooms are still the important thing and they look like rooms from much newer hotels, clean, spacious, comfortable and the best towels I’ve ever seen in a budget hotel. My only complaint was the a/c was struggling in the 100 degree day, in defense of the hotel I was on the top floor, and those a notoriously harder to cool. And although the bathroom look to be 95% new, it still had the original tub in it."

"They have nice amenities but the room felt damp. The bathroom is large but they have no counter space at all. The bed and bedding were excellent. Lots of space. Waffles were great."

"The hotel itself was lovely for the night I stayed. The staff was super helpful and kind. The shuttle was a Godsend at 3 in the morning cause my flight was 5am. I would definitely be back if I ever need to overnight in Austin again."

"My husband and I stay here often. It’s our staycation spot. We always feel comfortable and our rooms are always super clean!! The front desk staff is always nice and helpful!! We love this place!!"

"The pool needs to be refurbished, the concrete is rough and hurts your feet. There are alot of black spots on the bottom, I assume they are algae. I also do not understand paying to park when they already charge so much for the stay."
