"I have traveled the world for the last 40 years I never had customers service front desk like that ever. I arrive at the front desk at 9:30pm after driving for 4:30 hours the front desk person was the rudest and the most unprofessional person I have seen in 40 years. I come in and say hello I need to check in here is my confirmation number she answered like that I don’t have any rooms we are all booked I said I am not asking for a new room I have reservation and it’s confirmed and paid for she said I don’t care about you reservation I am booked. I said you haven’t even looked at my confirmation I showed her my confirmation and even pulled out my credit card app to show her that is paid . She answered I don’t care about you reservation or your payment I don’t have any rooms I am not going to go back and forth and if you don’t leave I can call the police I asked to talked to a manager she said it’s no manager here today you can come back tomorrow and talk to someone this is by far is the worse customer service person I talk to ever . It’s very pathetic that you let 18 years old to run your business I have owned my business for 38 years I talked and seen tens of thousands of people a year I never seen that bad and poor customer service person anywhere. She did not want to give me her name but in the end she did her name is lani and I am sure you can find her name easily I arrive at 4/10/3026 at 9:30 pm This is just the beginning I am not going to let this just pass "

"The room smelled terrible and the front receptionist had told me that the cleaning lady had quit so she had to go clean the room. I’m glad she was up front and took initiative but it doesn’t help that once I got to the room it smelled awful. I had a spider crawling on me in bed. I tried to cancel the room for the second night but I couldn’t get ahold of anyone over the phone and lost the money anyways. "

"The host was responsive and the location is fantastic, right on the river with beautiful views and plenty of activities nearby. This is a much older, very eclectic property with lots of character, not a modern or newly renovated rental, which worked well for our group.The large, well-equipped gathering room was perfect for our extended family gathering, and we made great use of the extra kitchen, pool table, darts, and pickleball. There’s also plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, including a firepit, which was a highlight for us.Kayaks are available, though the river current moves quickly in some areas, so plan for a downstream paddle and arrange pickup rather than expecting to paddle back upstream.With the home’s age and unique setting, occasional extra attention to deep cleaning would further enhance the experience. Overall, this place is ideal for guests who value space, activities, and a great river setting and are comfortable with an older home that has a lived-in, rustic feel."
