House rental "Erica" - Semi-detached house in an extensive park, nearby the sea.

"Zeer aardig ontvangst en een fijn appartement voor een gezin. Zijn meerdere appartementen aanwezig maar waren de enige gasten. 1 van de 2 doucheruimtes was wat ouder maar netjes en schoon, goede airco in de slaapkamers. Eigenaar zorgde voor voldoende schoon beddengoed en handdoeken. Terrein met mooie tuin is groot en dmv hek beveiligd. Omgeving erbuiten oogt wat armoedig. Wel op loopafstand van lokaal strand met ligbedjes en parasolverhuur bij diverse beachclubs. Ook langs de boulevard een klein restaurant met heerlijk eten en een aantal foodtrucks voor een broodje overdag. op 15 minuten rijden kleine mall met een grote supermarkt. Fijne uitvalsbasis voor trips naar bijvoorbeeld Noto en Syracusa."

"It had an okay breakfast. Close proximity to the water. Very small parking area on the property even though they said free parking. Wasn’t happy over the fact we were told we were being to loud, which we really were not. Walls must be paper thin."

"The property is lovely located in a rural landscape. It was refreshing to have space and quiet after being in Palermo for so many days. The rooms are spacious with nice private areas. The breakfasts were outstanding with plenty of fresh homemade choices. Directions to the property were not very clear and it’s a good thing we reached out to the property ahead of time to get specific directions since the old road is closed. Sara at the property was very kind and helpful. The owner seemed bored and disinterested by us. Since there is no restaurant located on the property and nothing nearby open for dinner, we brought some of our own cheeses and crackers. We were chastised for enjoying a glass of wine by the pool and having a few snacks because the property wanted us to purchase their own available charcuterie and wine. That would’ve been fine but we had no idea was even available. However, $40 for a bottle of wine is very expensive for Sicily! Overall, our stay was very lovely, but the instructions and expectations need to be more clearly expressed."

"Villa Felicia in Sicily was honestly one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve stayed. The entire property feels like a hidden oasis surrounded by lemon trees and gardens, with such a peaceful authentic Sicilian atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were exceptional with fresh local produce and homemade cakes, and every part of the hotel felt thoughtful and charming rather than overly commercial. The pool area, outdoor spaces and evening ambiance were simply magical. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and truly enjoy Sicily. Perfect location near Noto and the beaches, yet still quiet and tranquil. I left wishing I had booked longer. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic, elegant Sicilian experience."
