"We had a lovely stay. The location is great and when we had a small problem with the room, Adrian and Chris were quick to help us. The pool is great and well maintained and the grounds are nice. Parking is easy to access and included. Simple check in and check out experience. We would definitely stay again."

"Horrible place to stay. Meldew and mold smell thorough out the rooms. Also staff was not willing to help us out. The hotel elected to no clean the bathroom properly and after being told to do so, they still did not clean it properly. Dated hotel with high cost, better off staying else where and doing a day trip to Fitzroy."

"Place was clean and nice. The host is a poor communicator and bordering rude. No clear directions for an after hour checkin. Didn't pick 10 calls. Had to hunt down their residence to get into the apartment."

"The second time we've stayed at Drift in Palm Cove and we would stay again. The property has everything you need and is in the perfect location. The only thing that would help would be a heated pool, however you don't really need it if you go in the Summer."
Blue Lagoon Resort

"The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool, barely used by anyone else at the resort, was right outside our room and we used it every day. The water was warm and clean. We even used the outside BBQ to cook a meal. We learned how to use to local bus which was great for getting around to activities. Only negative was spotty internet. We brought that to staffs attention but little changed during our stay. The surrounding area and beaches were fabulous. Great walking trails and clean public spaces. "

"The location was amazing! It is up on the top floor with no elevator (so be sure you can do the stairs), but had a large balcony overlooking the ocean! We liked that it was in a less busy area and we could travel into downtown Cairns, beaches, Rainforests, Kuranda, etc. in our rental car easily! They had everything we needed to prepare foods, or wash clothes. Only issue was that there were tiny ants. They do ask you throw garbage away daily, but even that wasn’t quick enough. It helped that we stored everything in the fridge until we were leaving the room and could take our garbage down. The location and price made up for dealing with the ants. I would stay there again!"
