The property is stunning, with beautiful tropical surroundings, immaculate grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and disconnect. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and close enough to enjoy everything Puerto Viejo has to offer while still feeling like a private oasis. Waking up to the sounds of nature and spending our days surrounded by lush greenery was a dream. The food and drinks were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations in every way. "10/10 no complaints. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They clean the room extremely thoroughly daily, the FOOD and DRINKS were both phenomenal. You can tell their ingredients are fresh and the chefs make the food with love. I’ve honestly never had such a perfect experience. Hotel banana azul was the perfect welcome I needed for my first time in Costa Rica. Thank you to Banana Azul team!"

"This was my first trip to PV and the Atlantida lodge was just ok. The room was poorly lit and had bare necessities. I had to ask for clean towels and a floor mat more than once. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice and the beach access was gorgeous. The kitchen was ok. High taxes and surcharge so it’s cheaper to eat elsewhere. The grounds floor was dirty and always had maintenance and construction going on. Walls are so thin I could hear the people next door cough. Overall the would say it’s a 3. Probably would not stay here again"
