"Lovely hotel convenient for the centre of Caen, restuarants and transport links. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Minor issue - the ambient lighting in the room was great but we could have done with some brighter lighting as well, as sometimes it was a bit dark. Excellent stay though."

"We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "
