The hotel is visually lovely, and the staff are very kind and welcoming, so if service and aesthetics are what you’re looking for, those are definite positives. The rooms are clean and perfectly decent. However, my biggest issue was the almost complete lack of soundproofing, particularly in the rooms overlooking the pool and restaurant. You can hear your neighbours plugging in devices, walking around, talking and even snoring. Luckily, I didn’t hear any extracurricular activities, but you can essentially hear everything. I was genuinely shocked by how little sound insulation there seemed to be. If this hotel is your preferred option in Coustellet, I would strongly recommend bringing a portable white-noise machine or earplugs. I’d also be cautious if you’re a light sleeper. The hotel seems to have quite a lively atmosphere, with music playing around the pool until approximately 11 pm and starting again around noon. That may be perfect if you’re looking for a social or holiday atmosphere, but I wouldn’t personally recommend it for a business trip or for anyone dealing with jet lag who needs somewhere quiet to work, rest or sleep during the day. Overall, the property itself is attractive and the staff are lovely, but the lack of soundproofing significantly affected my stay.

Un concept, mais la réalisation laisse à desirer

Personnel très sympathique et surclassement apprécié bien que nécessaire: la chambre initialement prévue donnait sur les tables de restaurant! Malheureusement nous sommes arrivés un jour de festivités autour de la piscine et de travaux ce qui a retardé notre check in et le confort attendu autour de la piscine. Le barman et le réceptionniste très attentionnés étaient gênés, la propriétaire n’a pas laissé paraître une once de culpabilité ou d’inconfort de son côté. Bien que très sympathique son comportement était un peu léger. L’hôtel est très facile d accès et les chambres spacieuses et confortables mais l’ensemble reste très average. Choyez bien votre staff qui permet d’équilibrer l équation!
