If you’re looking for a scam this place is it. Location is horrible, you’re desolate and can’t go on the beach at all. From the minute you step foot on Hard Rock soil, you are getting scammed. I know there are always typical time-share scammers at airports but never witnessed them infiltrated within the “luxury all inclusive resort”, very weird. No ubers are allowed in, so your only means of transportation is Hard Rock Taxis that are in cahoots with the staff to get extra $$$. They charged us 125 USD for a one way trip to the airport, the taxi driver upon pickup handed the bell man a wad of cash… extremely unprofessional and unsafe. I feel bad for saying this because majority of people were very nice but there is no management or organization going on, seems like the resort collectively is figuring things out hour by hour. Scam and unprofessionalism aside, this place is boring as hell. The activities include a random worker walking to people asking them to guess his favorite band…. That’s it, that was the activity for a couple of hours. There is absolutely nothing to do here. We mentioned this during our checkout and they proceeded to try to sell us on a stay at Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana…. We stayed 3 days and we could not wait to get out of there fast enough, never wanted to leave a vacation and go home so bad.

My husband and I stayed for our second time for our wedding anniversary 4 days 3 nights total day 1 our shower was clogged my husband told the front desk they said it would be a extra $250 to move rooms day 2 our room is finally getting fixed by maintenance roughly around 5/6pm at night as the entire two days it was sales pitch after sales pitch. Yes I understand that’s what happens when you book a resort not my first rodeo however if your guest is already experiencing troubles with their room why would we give more and more money? Food was ok if it was a buffet it was basic if it was the restaurant it was yum. Service I felt was give or take they definitely pay attention to the color of your wristband for your service level sadly. Our first stay which was 8 days was amazing sadly the service has changed, the room we received this time (even when booking the same partial ocean view) was much much smaller never complained as we just wanted to enjoy the resort and eachothers company but our room being half void was very inconvenient as we even had to stay in the room to make sure it got done when I tried to bath at the earlier time within 5 minutes my husbands feet were covered in water by the bed! Our conceriege was more focused on being pushy on “making a living and a tip” than our actual stay so what is the point of the concierge to the room if we do everything ourselves on the iPad?We enjoyed the staff that did help like Richie!! He’s the only help. We even had dirty sheets

Excellent hotel and excellent vibe all over the place. It has a lot of pools to relax on, you can pick which ever you like it pretty much depends on what vibe you’re in. Food is good, there are some restaurants better than others but you always have an option to dine on, I personally recommend Ciao (italian food) and Toro was our favorite (steakhouse) also Zen the japanese one it’s great, we personally didn’t love the tepanyaki table it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either, I recommend just sitting on a table and order from the menu (it’s a lot better). Im always checking on clean rooms and this was definitely clean, spacious and so comfortable, I loved it! Alcohol it’s awesome, they have everything you could ask for and great quality as well. The only thing I would recommend it’s to be aware for the guys that wants to sell you share time or a vacation club right after you check in; if you come for three or more nights go ahead let them give you the talk, they’ll gift you a nice massage for it BUT if you come for two nights I wouldn’t recommend going and wasting great time around the hotel. Staff was nice enough and most of them very helpful. We would definitely come back, I truly recommend coming with friends you’ll have the best time. Thanks for a great stay Hard Rock Los Cabos.

We stayed at Hardrock for 6 days 5 nights. Staff was amazing especially the pool. Andy David and JP made out pool experience even more fantastic. Rooms are nice and everything on the property is well maintained. Food was very good for all inclusive. We ate at all the restaurants. Each one was very very good. The onky down fall is they bother you your whole trip to try get you to buy packages. Dont look anyone in the eye or they will track you down and offer you cool gifts for a presentation. To me my vacation is anout the limited timr I have to enjoy myself. Although they are very nice. You do get held hostage for about 2 hours. Even when you check out someone else bothers you. Its starts as soon as you walk in. You think they are there to guid you to places. Think again. Dont stop for anyone say no thanks for any directions. Trust me. Theynare all in on it.

By far worst experience I have ever had at a resort in Cabo. Extremely understaffed, we would have to wait hours just to get a table. The food was extremely mediocre. It was essentially cafeteria food at the buffets. Drink staff by the pool was very limited so it took a while to order drinks. Not nearly enough pool chairs and limited sun shades. People would also save multiple chairs and never use them and staff would do nothing about it. Tons of screaming kids everywhere so it was not exactly a place you want to be if you’re trying to relax and enjoy your vacation. Room was considerably small for the price we paid. Overall terrible experience considering the amount of money that we spent on the trip. If you want to vacation with screaming kids and terrible service then this is the place for you!

Property was lovely and clean. Staff was slow, inattentive and we didn't even get towels a couple of the days. Pool service was spotty at best. Restaurants same. Concierge couldn't help with any request including where to find Easter Sunday mass. Food and drinks were meh. Entertainment was good!

Group of friends and the 18 year old drinking age. The harassment and confrontation with every service request was not what one expects in vacation. The most amazing thing about this place is the service - always super friendly and fast. There are so many people to help you here with whatever you need. We felt like Rock Stars! Beautiful pools spread throughout the property from quiet to all out all party atmosphere. They got all the small things right like fast seamless internet everywhere, lots of umbrellas for shade, perfect water temperatures in the pools and hot tubs. Lots of activities for any age group. OK, so not all the dishes in all the restaurants were 5 star but where is this ever the case? The only small negative that we had was that the pull out couch was rather uncomfortable but our two teenage kids did not seem to mind as they were so burnt out at the end of the day from all the activities. Oh, did I mention the fantastic service?

This property is located very far away from the Marina/town center. It’s in an area where the beaches are not swimmable. There are also no sunbeds set up on the beaches. The hotel and taxi have a monopoly on transportation and it’s extremely overpriced ($45usd) to book a one way drive to the town. The hotel itself is just ok, definitely not a luxury hotel. The food options are basic, not enough vegan options. When they do offer vegan items, they are mainly vegetable stir fry and salad bars. The fitness center is the best thing at the hotel. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel sales team are extremely aggressive. After we told them no during the check-in, they called our room at 8am the next morning to ask again. Luckily we were already awake. Then a couple of days later, they called the room again trying to sell the membership. After checking out, they tried to sell us package for another hotel. It’s worse than the street vendors at the airport and the Marina. Overall we would not stay at this hotel or another Hard Rock again.

I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed with 3 of my friends for 4 days and 3 nights. Wish I had more! The staff were incredibly nice from the restaurants to the beach staff. Pool time was highlight of our afternoons. We enjoyed playing pool games with super Johnny. Super Johnny was always very energetic and inviting.

My biggest complaint - I purchased this vacation through Expedia for myself, my husband and our daughter. Though I hadn't originally been interested in the Hard Rock, the price was good - so I bought a 4 day stay and paid for it. When we arrived I was informed that I had in fact only paid for 2 people and I owed another $1000. I feel like I got hoodwinked. I know I repeatedly entered 3 people into my reservations, but somehow only 2 showed up. Perhaps this was my own error - but I was very sure I entered 3 guests. It was a painful way to start our trip. The staff at the Hard Rock were kind and attentive. The room was comfortable and attractive. But the experience was devoid of soul - the food was similar in every restaurant (except Zen), and the pool experience was the same every day. That would've been fine, except there was ZERO access to any other restaurants or outside options due to the remote location of the property. We felt a little trapped and panicky at times - and would never stay here again for that reason - especially once the price got jacked up so significantly. We believe the attraction to this venue is a feeling of safety - which is wonderful - but it comes at a steep price. Visiting here was not at all like visiting Mexico, but more like visiting Disneyland. It felt manufactured and wasn't our preference.

There has been some major safety concern that put our kid at a major risk I brought the manager and showed him a gap in a public main balcony glass that a kid could easily jump from. I had an extra room that was booked by mistake for me and my wife. Since the room was extra and although I had requested early enough to can cancel the extra room they forced me to accept both rooms as it was done through Expedia and even I had no choice to cancel yet they gave one room to me and one to my wife with one key to each room individually and when I asked for manager the guy said I am the manager. One other issue is using taxi and shuttle to and from airport.

Do NOT stay here!! This hotel is awful you are better off staying at the rui. It’s a loud party hotel not meant for kids or families, they blast inappropriate music at the pool so loud you can even talk to the person next to you. The nighttime party’s are SO loud it sounds like it’s inside your room. They had some weird issue with towels and wouldn’t give you more then 1 and I had to argue everyday that I have kids and I need 4 and everyday the guy was extremely rude about it. They also wouldn’t give extra bed linens for kids!! The pullout couch is a single bed not big enough for 2 kids so we took the outside couch and made a bed inside because they wouldn’t allow you to have a cot. There’s so much more, rooms are dirty, won’t seat you on a patio even tho they are wide open had to fight for an outside seat everyday. Kids camp the ladies just sit in their phones it’s a dingy room. Will not give you bottled water at the pool only gross foggy cups of weird tasting water. It is not worth your money go somewhere else, it’s also so far from everything you can’t just leave to eat or go somewhere else the taxi is very expensive into town. Left 2 days early because I couldn’t stand to be there any longer. Do not stay there!!
