No hot water in the room. Had to take shower at the spa. Maintainance called upon arrival and when they came the same night, they stated it would be hot water to shower within 20 minutes and it was not. We had to go to the spa and shower due to no hot water in the room. They they again right before check out.and it was working. Also we did not receive expected welcome gift until stated not receiving right before check out. Then handed to us at check out. Paid for late checkout but got locked out. It would have been ok if the young lady at the front desk would not have been so dismissal.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. Unfortunately there’s construction blocking the gorgeous view. It can initially be seen in their lobby. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony and plunge pool. The staff was accommodating enough to change our rooms but it was still the same view. Their rooftop pool will eventually have a building blocking their view depending on how high it’ll get built. Aside from that, the resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly!

Overall customer service was unsatisfactory. Staff wasn’t very helpful only a handful were nice and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would look into other places that have better service and value for the price we paid.

Hotel is fine but nothing special -- rooms/furnishings are comfortable but dated. The rooms are quiet and clean. The hotel does have some issues, primarily there are water intrusion issues when it is stormy (not hurricane stormy -- this wasn't exceptional) with sandbags at entrances to some rooms (!), the spa and between the outdoors and the interior corridors. Finally, there is a somewhat pricey buffet breakfast that if you are on a meal plan/all inclusive would be included, but I was not on the plan. One couldn't get an a la carte breakfast -- it was either pay almost $30 for a huge buffet, or go elsewhere. It would have been really nice to have been able to get a bagel and coffee, or huevos Mexicanos without going for the full porky. The location is central but the marina is a bit of a tourist trap.
