"Me and my partner enjoyed our stay. We felt it was very good value. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Room was modern and inviting. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The breakfast was good with a good variety of continental foods. We don't have a dog but I thought it was very good how this hotel catered well for people who did have dogs and the dogs were even welcomed in the restaurant whilst their owners ate breakfast. Parking was good to the rear of the building. The only negative I can say is the noise from trains going past woke me up a couple of times in the night and the mattress was a bit too firm for me so I didn't sleep that well but other than that it's an excellent place to stay. I would be happy to stay again."

"We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. We ate in the restaurant the 1st evening and the food was very nice and service good. The breakfast was really nice and is cooked to order. Again service was fabulous. The 2nd evening we went to the curry cabin for a meal and we had a lovely meal. Food and service again was great. Was nice to see everywhere so busy."
