"Wonderful staff, reasonable location, great shower, looked like a decent breakfast, decent price, danged annoying $5/night parking fee for an out-of-the-way property that's not likely subject to random people using their lot, weirdly furnished room. Nominally a suite, it feels for all the world like a remodel tore out all of the original furniture and decor, and replaced it with stuff about 50% too small - little TV, little couch, lots of scattered "bought as a set" furniture, lots of empty space."

"The room was clean. Had a kitchen with stove, dishes, places and silverware. The breakfast was just ok; nothing special at all. Toasted English muffins, toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, milk, juice. Reasonably priced for the area."

"What an amazing stay!! Beautiful, well appointed home in lovely neighborhood just blocks from the lake, bike trails, shops, restaurants and canoe etc rentals. We were greeted with a glorious and delicious smorgasbord of tasty delights and a bottle of wine. Lots of extras in the fridge. We were visiting after moving away 30 years ago and were able to host small gatherings of friends both inside and out (nice porch, swing and seats on the front porch, as well as as a delightful private backyard with picnic table and gardens! Lots of private spaces and multiple beautiful bedrooms with artwork everywhere. We hope to be back again someday."

"Great house in a great location. Plenty of room to park 4 vehicles. There are 2 refrigerators although we only used one. There is one futon in the main floor living room which we chose not to use as the springs were easy to feel. There are no beds or pullout couches in the basement. There is a king in one bedroom and 2 twins in another, both on the main level. The bedroom in the basement has a queen. The listing states it sleeps 16. We used air mattresses in order to sleep all 14 of us. The house was spotless with plenty of towels and washcloths. The lake really isn’t swimable. There was one stand-up paddle board in the garage that we didn’t use. Bring your own life jackets."

"Spacious, clean and well appointed. Great directions.King size bed had hill and valley. Also, bed noisy when you rolled over. Full size bed was great.Last time I took a shower in a claw foot tub was in college. I had forgotten how much “fun” it was."
