"We had a family weekend stay for our first trip to Tassie. I really liked how quirky this accommodation looked and it didnt disappoint. Old brick building, beautiful beams, gorgeous door in keeping with its older style. We were in the section by reception and noise was not an issue (I'd been a little concerned by some other reviews). There's a bend in the road that some boy-racers seem to like flying along, but we didn't notice any excessive noise. Bathroom a decent size, clean, daily housekeeping. About 15min walk to the marina and the main part of town, so well located. Walking distance to catarct gorge. Easy parking on site. Definitely go to the Penny Royal Adventure area onsite. We had a great time rock climbing, doing the rope bridges and zip lining. Would return if we ever go back to Launceston."

"Don't go by the advertised photos. The bathroom stink..bathroom door doesn't get close...the property is very old.. I liked indoor heated swimming pool facility.."

"Property is very clean, well run and conveniently located - very close to Cataract Gorge. A washer dryer is available for a reasonable fee. Restaurants and stores nearby. DON’T MISS: Sunday market in Evandale - a cute town only 30 minutes away by public bus (check the schedule), even shorter by car. Also, have breakfast or brunch at “Earthly Eats” on Kingsway, 8 min walk from hotel, great menu + food! "
