"This is an agri-turismo - a few rooms available on a working farm that also runs a restaurant. Our room was comfortable with a very nice, large bathroom. We had amazing views of green fields and hills out our windows, as well as of horses grazing. We ate breakfast and supper at the restaurant. The food was local, beautifully prepared and served in a very friendly manner. Nearby is an amazing neolithic archeological site. You can do great walks around the property."

"When we arrived the woman checking us in (who appears to be the manager/a senior member of staff) did not seem interested in helping us or trying to communicate (as we don't speak Italian). She seemed to take an immediate dislike to us and mostly ignored us/visibly made other staff members deal with us during our stay, was basically very rude. This wasn't simply a language issue as although most people we met in Sardinia did not speak English, they were generally happy to try to help us and...

"Very impressive accommodation. room 4 was nice and bed comfortable but not suitable for three people and unfortunately other guests can walk past your patio door at any time, there are blinds thou. A fridge and kettle would have been a welcome addition. The owners are laid back and leave you to your holiday. The breakfast is a simple serve yourself affair. A little to much packaged food."

"Highly recommended, excellent B&B where you will have a good, quiet, comfortable night’s sleep. Franca is kind, courteous and welcoming. Breakfast is plentiful, with a wide variety of quality delicious local produce and home baked cakes. We were very grateful to Francesco this year, who was extremely patient and helpful in enabling us to book train tickets for our trip to Macomer. We will definitely stay at Sa Chessa next time we are in Ploaghe."

Charming Home in a Beautiful Little City
"From the moment we set foot in Casa Marta, we felt immediately at home. Our welcome from Marcella and Marta was so warm and friendly, and they gave us an overview of both the house and of Nuoro, along with recommendations of where to eat and what to see. Of all the accommodations we've stayed in, Casa Marta takes cleanliness to a new level. This place was spotless-- and so well-stocked with all the essentials, plus the little extras that only hosts with a true gift of hospitality would think of. We found the location to be a wonderful home base for visiting the Gulf of Orosei and Gola di Gorropu. We loved our time in the area and felt so at home each evening when we returned to this charming guest house. Thank you, Marcella and Marta, for being such phenomenal hosts!"
