Stay away from this hotel
The best thing about this hotel is its location, The room I have is very noisy, the bed was tidy and clean but not comfortable. I booked a room for £125 online but ended up paying £135 at the hotel as the owner has his own change rate. will never stay there again.

100 percent recommend!
I would 100 percent stay here again and recommend it to others. The place was in a great neighborhood, near the ruin bars but still very quiet. Everything was sparkling clean, we had a fridge in our room, the AC worked well, and there is an elevator. Close to a metro station as well. The family that runs this guesthouse is also very nice.

Basic but sufficient for our needs
The stay was sufficient. About 15 mins walk from the city centre. Plenty of good food to eat and drink. I was expecting more but if you are just happy with the basics then i would recommend it for a weekend away for a few guys. If it is a couple i would suggest looking for something else. Bathroom was basic but clean. Supplied with a fridge (in the room) and a shared kitchen was situated near the reception. I would have preferred to have paid by credit card, but cash was only allowed. Beds were ok but hard, sufficient for our needs.

Excellent Location
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. This hotel is 1/2 block from the Oktegon Metro Station, 1/2 block from the 105 Bus Line which takes you directly to the bottom of Buda Castle, and 1/2 block from the local grocery store. The room has a refrigerator so it makes it convenient. The rooms are adequately sized, but was disappointed that you must pay extra daily charge if you want air conditioning in the room. Upon request they did provide a fan in the room, as an alternative to paying the additional daily charge for air conditioning.

Cheap, centrally-located, no-frills room
Pros: - Good location - Secure entry to the building and the rooms (on the 5th floor) - Inexpensive Cons: - Requested a room with 3 twin beds, got a room with a double and a twin instead. - AC is an additional 5 EUR/night, and there is no fan. Stayed during the summer so the room was quite warm at night.

Bed was a bit small for 2 big guys, but all arrangements and payments were smooth, and the location is super for getting around town. Would like a 'do not disturb'-sign for those persistent hangovers. Shower was unimpressive, but the service was always with a smile :-)

Important tip: Make sure you tell the owner when you are arriving! His contact details are given, and he also emailed us a reminder the day before. He is not always around, so it's important to call/email him if you want to check in promptly. Pros: - Location is close to the popular tourist attractions - Street is full of pubs and bars, as well as restaurants - There is a common kitchen and lounge available to all the tenants (microwave, stove, fridge and things like plates, bowls, pots, cutlery etc). Cons: - If your room faces out to the street, it is very noisy! We stayed in the one facing the interior courtyard, which was quiet - There is no air conditioning in the rooms. And additional fee is charged for AC. - Payment is in cash only

Dear Carlos,I sent you a message through Expedia asking for your estimated arrival time but did not get any answer.We are not a hotel with 24 hour reception and when we know the guest's arrival time somebody is there to wait for the guest.If we don't know arrival time so when the guest sends us am sms or call us,someone goes there in about 10 minutes.We didn't get from you nor sms nor phone call.So we can't know ahead when you intend to get to us.Sorry for the inncovenience and the missunderstanding.We wish you all the bestHave a nice day RegardsEitan Herscovici

Correcte dans l'ensemble
1er chambre : ajout par le peoprio d'un lit supplementaire car pas de chambre dispo pour 3. 2e chambre le lendemain pour 3 dispo mais pas de wifi dans la chambre. Sinon séjour correcte, chambre propre et bon accueil.

Einfach aber sehr zentral.
Sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr ruhig trotz befahrener Strasse, da die Fenster gut schliessen. Keine Klimaanlage. Sehr schönes altes Haus mit Innenhof. Küche inkl. Kaffeemaschine zum gemeinsamen Gebrauch. U-Bahn Station ist sehr nah. Gutes W-Lan.

Enkle forhold, men : Greit sted til lav pris.
Et enkelt lite hotell beliggende på 5. etg med en eldre heis som fører en opp dit. Her kan man komme og gå som man vil med egen nøkkel og døråpner til ytterdør og port. Verten er bare tidvis tilstede. Nede på gaten er det Spar-butikk på hjørnet. På andre siden av gaten skrått mot åttekantplassen et frokoststed hvor man kan spise for ca en femtilapp og oppover. Motsatt ende av kvartalet mange spisesteder. Ca 10 min gange til House of terror, et «must see» for tilhengere av frihet og demokrati ! Det er trikk og Metro tett på, hvor man for 10-12 kr kommer seg rundt i byen. Stopp 10 på Hop on-hop of - turistbusser i nærheten.

Worth the money
Nothing special but worth the money. Friendly service. A little bit dirty and a huge problem with the Wi-fi. Good location!

Eitans Guesthouse ist ideal gelegen, wenn Sie Budapest auf eigene Faust erkunden wollen, U Bahn, Tram alles praktisch vor der Haustür. Zimmer okay aber ohne jeglichen Komfort. Kühlschrank im Zimmer.Trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig gelegen. Zimmer liegt im 5. Stock, aber es ist ein kleiner Aufzug vorhanden. Eitan ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn Sie Budapest zu einem günstigen Preis kennenlernen wollen, aber bereit sind auf Komfort zu verzichten, dann sind Sie hier richtig. Vorwiegend junges Publikum mit kleinem Budget, Selbstversorger, weniger geeignet für Leute, die auf Wellness und Komfort Wert legen

L'hôtel était présenté avec une belle réduction. Au final, sur place, la chambre était à maximum moitié prix de l'offre sur Internet... Pas d'air climatisé (il fallait payer pour cela), donc nuit la fenêtre ouverte ... et chambre donnant sur un boulevard où passe un tramway ! les 2 nuits passées dans cet hôtel furent courtes. La salle de bains sentait l'urine à l'arrivée. Le wifi marchait 5 minutes par jour. Bref, grosse déception. Heureusement on n'y passait qu'un week-end. Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner, mais il semblait très cher (par rapport à la vie là-bas).

ok hotel, men veldig mye støy fra gata. På hjemmesiden står det at du kan betale med kort; det er ikke tilfellet. Vi måtte betale cash før vi fikk rommet. Beliggenheten er fin hvis du skal på shopping, spa etc.
