"We have had a wonderful stay at The Old Rectory, beautiful house with wonderful facilities and the pool was amazing. Staff are all knowledgeable about local history and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the main hotel which was lovely and again we felt so well looked after. We highly recommend Hartwell House, beautiful old buildings with so much character and the grounds are spectacular. Thank you and hope we are lucky enough to return again. "

"The house and annex are immaculate. It’s a fantastic place to gather friends and family in style. Enjoy meals together in the large kitchen, sit and relax in one of the many rooms, or enjoy a friendly ping pong or pool competition. The master bedrooms in each property are amazing, and the others are equally comfy. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with Stonor Park within walking distance. The jewel for us though was the pool. At 15 metres you can actually swim in it which is unusual for...

"The house was a good size but very tired and scruffy. Given the price, the furnishings should be in better shape...curtains half hanging off the rail, no shower curtain in the downstairs and master bath, and sofas that were old and needed replacing. The garden didn't look like it had been attended to for years. The check-in communication was not well-coordinated within the booking team. This could be a beautiful property if given the love and care needed."
