Staff are all knowledgeable about local history and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the main hotel which was lovely and again we felt so well looked after. Given the price, the furnishings should be in better shape...curtains half hanging off the rail, no shower curtain in the downstairs and master bath, and sofas that were old and needed replacing. The garden didn't look like it had been attended to for years. The check-in communication was not well-coordinated within the booking team. This could be a beautiful property if given the love and care needed."
