"This resort is AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and absolutely stunning views - well maintained - the owner Mrs. Elizabeth’s weekly Nature History Tour was an added bonus. She is very passionate about and very involved here at the Buccaneer Resort . Will for sure be back !"

"This condo was nicely furnished, with a cozy seating area and very comfortable bed. We appreciated having use of the folding beach chairs during our stay. Kitchen amenities were pretty basic, but fine for our purposes. Nice washer/dryer but no detergent provided so bring a few laundry pods with you. The location is great for lots of beaches and for Christiansted town/restaurants. Our hosts were very good with communication prior to and during our trip. The reason I gave this property 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were not provided with a gate clicker during our stay, which wasn’t awful but a bit inconvenient. We did inquire about it on arrival, but the property manager didn’t ever bring one by. Our chief annoyance however, was that the pool deck was under significant repair and the pool was basically not useable during our stay …. a shame when the pool was a deciding factor when booking the property."

"The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up in my hand. I was them accused of smoking in the room because of the odor from the hair dryer. I would avoid this place at all costs. The restaurant was extremely overpriced and the food was barely edible. St Croix has numerous great places to stay and eat.....this isn't one of them."

"Do Not be fooled by this listing. The pool is NOT A PRIVATE POOL. It is shared and you have to ASK FOR PERMISSION to use it. When I found this out, I asked for a refund and was denied. I told him I that his post is misleading and based on what he advertised, I was under the impression that the pool was private and part of the rental. He stated that it wasn't. "

"We are a large family of 11 with older teenagers and adult children who rented both properties at Whispering Palms. This entire property is incredible-the privacy it affords you and the view is second to none. Leo is a fantastic host who was extremely kind and helpful with any questions we had. There is not a more beautiful property on the island! The beds were beyond comfortable and both homes were spotless!"

Luxury 2 bedroom home next to Buccaneer Resort

"The unit was clean and ready to go, once we found it. We arrived after dark and could not find it but Silver, the host, met us at the entry of this gated community and escorted us up. We own a place on St Croix but it was rented to others so we needed a place to stay for a week. This unit is convenient to the east end restaurants and there are 3 beaches within a 5 minute drive. The unit is huge and could use some more furnishing but the basics were there. We only did breakfast at the unit which we enjoyed on a little patio with the same 5 chickens every morning. If we get in a bind again and need to rent we would stay here. No views or pool but the price is right and beaches and town are very close."
