Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs. Please follow these guidelines: Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time. Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active. Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach. Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times. Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

My husband and I LOVED this house! The customer service is amazing.. the resort is cute and exactly what we were looking for a little get away. Very dog friendly!! This house had the most beautiful view. It’s also a perfect distance from any shopping.. we will be coming back every year and staying here.
We enjoyed our stay with the most beautiful mountain views! This mountain resort has everything you need to really experience the outdoors, and easy access to all the nearby attractions. We will definitely be booking here again!
My family had an amazing stay! Cabin was clean and fabulous! I loved the fire place and my boys loved the hot tub. Coming from Michigan it was a challenge to get use to the mountain driving, but by the end, we were zipping around!
We loved the cabin. Very clean and comfortable. The perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids! We cooked most of our meals there and the kitchen had all that we needed. We enjoyed the table on the back patio and the grill! There were a few maintenance issues, and the staff was very helpful and kind.
Beautiful cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our only issue was for the price the minor details are somewhat overlooked. Examples: Pool table needs some minor repairs or replacement/door latches broke/citronella or something for the deck at night with insects around the hottest. Beautiful place and everything about the checking and correspondence with the staff was excellent and the view....totally amazing! We will be back!!!
The views from the hot tub, deck, fire pit and windows of this cabin are AMAZING! There was a nice little grassy area for our little dog to enjoy, too. There are trails on the property and each cabin is distanced from the next just enough so you don’t see or hear each other— plenty of privacy! The inside of the cabin was amazingly nice and spacious and the beds were big and comfortable with good quality bedding. Honestly, this place is super nice! I am very picky when it comes to staying in a clean place and could not find a spot that was missed when cleaning! We had a blast and felt pampered. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions and very friendly. I can’t wait to come back!

We arrived at the cabin, the back sliding door was off the hinges exposing the inside of the cabin, bees were flying every where and the deck doesn’t look like the picture. We got into the cabin and it was 70 degrees. Lady bugs and stick bugs in bedrooms and kitchen. Maintenance came out fixed the door then we noticed the air conditioning wasn’t working. Maintenance came out again and it couldn’t be fixed. They ended up moving us to a different cabin. Which was super nice.
Great location and views! Best we’ve ever had coming to the mountains.
The rental company was very nice and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. There were a few issues at the cabin however. The maintenance guy had to come fix a hot tub issue which prevented us being able to get in at all on our first night. We did get to enjoy it the next day but there still seemed to be a heating issue. The carbon monoxide detector batteries needed changing because it was beeping. We had to pull it off the wall and remove the batteries. The showers did not seem to have much hot water. I think just a little updating on some of these issues would be all is needed. Overall, the trip was still very nice, the cabin rental people were very quick to respond, and even with these few issues, I would stay there again. Those seem like easy fixes.
