This cozy cabin with a relaxing hot tub was perfect for our honeymoon. The stay was clean with a well-stocked kitchen had lovely Mountain views and eye-catching fall foliage. I highly recommend it and would stay again!
Everything was awesome, driving to the house was easier than expected, fully paved roads all the way.The house was super clean and pretty.Pictures were very accurate and the mountains view at dawn were the best.
Amazing stay! Everything was clean and in good working order! The drive up is scary if you are not used to steep mountain driving but if you take your time you will be fine!
We spent our Christmas in this lovely mountain getaway and we had every amenity that we needed for our stay. The team that handles the property were very professional and provided us with all the information we would need for our stay. The cabin itself was lovely and very inviting. This is the perfect getaway that we needed. 6 stars if we could give it! The Thompson-Whitfields’
The road up and down was an adventure, but it was worth it for the house and the view. The house was as described and the little snacks were an added bonus. Having the hot tub at the end of night was lovely after an afternoon on taking a side by side up the mountain service roads. Loved that the place was pet friendly and included bowls and covers to keep the furniture clean. Shoutout to the all the neighbors who helped wrangle my dog when she took off up the mountain. Would stay here again-a weekend was not long enough.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Prancing Elk cabin! We had amazing mountain views from the deck and hot tub. The house was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The ONLY drawback was that the one mile drive up the driveway was frightening for someone not accustomed to steep drives. The drive has a lot of potholes and steep cliffs. This is not something the owner could help but would have liked to have known this info beforehand. Again, cabin is worth the drive!
Really a beautiful property and the perfect getaway for some peace and quiet! We had absolutely everything that we needed for the week. The view is stunning and we loved listening to the frogs after it rained. My kids really enjoyed the toys up in the loft, great for those rainy afternoons. The check in/out process was the easiest we've had. We also really appreciated the snack basket, very nice touch!
We loved exploring all the waterfalls in the area, driving through the smokies, and hitting up some of the small towns in the area (Sylva and Dillsboro were both favorites). Definitely make sure to check out Honey Bears in Bryson City and Qualla Coffee in Cherokee! We even saw an elk along hwy 19 on our way back to the cabin one afternoon.
We will definitely be back! Could not ask for sweeter hosts!
Super cute and clean little get away for the Polar Express. It wasn’t far from Bryson City but secluded enough to feel like we are in the mountains away from everything :)
We had been anticipating this vacation for months and finally walking through the door the first day did not disappoint! We were greeted by a Christmas tree twinkling in the living area and the whole atmosphere from the cozy blankets, to the comfy bed was absolutely perfect. We had everything we could possibly need for the entire week we were there. The thoughtfulness that has gone into preparing this cabin for guests is unexpected and refreshing. Holly & Jimmy have created the perfect environment for a much needed get away! We can’t wait to stay again. ❤️
Close to some very pretty hikes and waterfalls. Bryson City is minutes away. Looks like a brand new cabin. Good view and had three deer come visit. The stars were brilliant!
Spacious, rustic style cabin with huge cathedral ceiling and large windows, providing great views of the mountains. Includes a firepit with complimentary firewood. Very comfortable, firm beds.
