"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"The signature rooms are very nice - spacious and with a balcony. Love the lounge and the good breakfast at Steak on Six. Sona was good for dinner, with superbly attentive staff, but it was a little overpriced. Our air con didnā€™t work and the pool changing rooms could do with a freshen up, but otherwise a very pleasant and relaxing stay."
