"Expérience pas terrible : La porte s’ouvre seulement en donnant un bon coup de hanche dedans le joint est complètement dilatée, chambre très petite même pas la place de poser sa valise au sol mais sinon ok c’est propre et c’est l’essentiel je peux passer outre. "The property itself is lovely. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We ordered a meal at dinner and, while basic, it was very good. My only real concern is that the hotel advertised a pool, that was open. When we arrived in 29 degree heat we were looking forward to a swim only to find out the pool was closed, although it was full and the water was reasonably warm. We would at least liked to have sat around the pool but all the chairs, umbrellas etc were locked away. This was very disappointing. I would not have booked this hotel and paid its fairly high tariff if I had know the pool was not available."

"We had a great holiday at this lovely French Chateau. Unfortunately we had a heat wave that brought out hundreds of flies. By the end of the week, the weather cooled and the number of flies decreased significantly. The rooms were quite hot as a result, however the owner supplied us with a fan and we purchased 2 others to make things more comfortable. The salt water pool was a pleasure to have. There were also several outdoor games to play. Shopping was close by. We visited a couple of wineries as part of a day trip. There were several other adventures that were available but we decided to spend more time together with the relatives. Check in and check out was easy. Thanks for a great time. "

"The week was wonderful. The location is wonderfully scenic and quiet and Thomas as host was brilliant - helpful and on hand to help manage the pool and share info about local activities and possible trips/places to visit. Very welcoming and friendly. The house was lovely - with plenty of space and everything you need to just unwind and relax. Evenings spent sitting outside under the stars were lovely. "
