"We had a fantastic long weekend at Brucoli Mare 2. We were in Sicily for a family wedding. Joe, the host, was amazing. Very flexible about check-in time and super helpful when we had questions. The villa was clean and air-conditioned and had everything we needed. Would definitely flag up that you need your own transport when staying there. Uber doesn't work and local taxis are very expensive. Nearest supermarket 20/25 mins walk away. Loved our stay. Would definitely go back. "

"Pros: Das Haus war sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet, die Wohnung groß und genügend Platz für 4 Personen. Der Gastgeber Guiseppe war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dafür nochmals ein danke. Der Garten und die Dusche waren perfekt und extrem praktisch, genauso wie die Waschmaschine Der Gastgeber gab uns ausreichend Informationen, zum einkaufen, Sehenswürdigkeiten,..... Parkplätze waren genügenden vorhanden. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Cons: Die Nachbarn oberhalb waren ziemlich laut, da...

"The place is an oasis in the city. Very convenient for exploring the city and felt safe. A charming place. There were some issues with cleanliness though such as smelly pillows and dust & dirty floors. But the bathroom and kitchen were spotless. The kitchen could have done with some items such as a washing-up bowl or plug. But overall it was a very pleasant place and the owner was very good at communicating with us. "

"Beautiful, comfortable, spacious and the best of Ortigia. The air-conditioning works perfectly! The outdoor sitting areas and kitchen made this house a great addition to my stay in Ortigia. I hope to be back to Ortigia and I hope this house will welcome me back! In nearly 20 years as a VRBO customer, this is my most exuberant review! "

"Anna y Gaetano son encantadores. Te hacen sentir bien y te ayudan en todo lo posible. Su casa es como un pequeño oasis a 20min. del aeropuerto de Catania. Su finca colinda con un centro comercial donde tienes de todo. La piscina es espectacular y mi hija se lo pasó en grande con una cama elástica que tienen en el jardín. Verdaderamente todo son ventajas, aunque faltan unas pocas comodidades llevables: pocos enchufes, poco espacio en la cocina,.... Por todo lo demás Anna y Gaetano te facilitarán...

"It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it...

"Overall we had a nice experience and the ultimate location was pretty good - easy access to all sights/sounds on Ortigia island and also an easy walk back to the mainland. However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the Expedia website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text. After no reply for 3 more hours I then called and nobody...

"Heaven in Ortigia! Carmelo was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute in this thoughtfully appointed, spacious and welcoming home. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to all of Ortigia’s beautiful sights and restaurants, as well as very easily accessible to Siracusa and the train/bus stations by cab (5 minutes, 15 Euro) or foot (15-20 mins). We will always remember our magical stay in Ortigia and we can’t wait to come back to Apollo House. Grazie!!"
