The accommodation: an ideal retreat for those seeking peace, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere!
Situated in a strategic location, precisely on Via Palermo 87, the house is the perfect starting point to explore the historic center of Catania, enjoy the natural beauty of eastern Sicily, and savor the local cuisine.
It’s an independent house located in a semi-basement, carefully renovated and furnished in a modern style, using warm colors and materials that evoke the serenity of the Mediterranean. This feature makes it naturally cooler — a great advantage during the Sicilian summer.
Perfect for families, couples, and groups of up to 5 people, with the possibility to accommodate a newborn in a crib.
The cozy and modern spaces are furnished with essential yet comfortable furniture, ideal for a relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy two bedrooms: the first includes a double bed, a foldable bed, and a crib, while the second has a bunk bed.
A fully equipped kitchen to prepare home-cooked meals, a modern bathroom, and a laundry area complete the house. Every corner has been designed to ensure maximum comfort and practicality without sacrificing style.
The property offers free Wi-Fi throughout the house for a worry-free stay. In addition, safety devices such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit are provided to ensure guests’ safety.
The private entrance guarantees full privacy and independence during your stay.
In the area, you’ll find free parking spaces or, just a few steps from the house, a secure covered parking lot available for a fee. Moreover, nearby bus stops allow you to move easily around the city.
Just a 20-minute walk from the house, you can discover some of Catania’s main attractions, such as the Cathedral, Ursino Castle, the Greek-Roman Theatre, the Benedictine Monastery, and the famous fish market.
In the neighborhood, you’ll also find various shops and services: cafés, supermarkets, rotisseries, bakeries, and bus stops for convenient transportation.
You can also enjoy a private veranda, furnished with a small table for two, where you can relax, smoke, and enjoy a good morning coffee or a cool drink in the evening, surrounded by the tranquility of the neighborhood.
Let yourself be embraced by a simple and authentic atmosphere that will make you feel immediately at home. Our attention to detail and hospitality make this house a unique place where you can feel completely at ease. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to relax or a comfortable base to explore Catania, you’ll find everything you need for an unforgettable stay.
Guest access:
Guests will have private access to the entire house, with an independent entrance that ensures privacy and convenience during their stay. Usually, either I, my son Dario, or his wife Francesca are available to personally welcome guests at any time and assist during check-in.
However, if none of us are available due to work, a self check-in system is provided. The keypad is located right next to the entrance door: to unlock it, simply enter the numeric code and lower the lever to open it. Inside, you’ll find the key to access the property easily and safely.
Interaction with guests:
During your stay, I’ll be available to provide any support you may need. You can contact me for any information — whether about what to visit, where to eat, or anything related to the house.
Although I respect your privacy, I’m always reachable by phone or messages to ensure you have a pleasant and peaceful experience. I’ll be happy to share personalized tips to help you explore Catania and immerse yourself in the local culture.
Other things to note:
This is a fully independent house with no shared spaces, ensuring maximum privacy.
The accommodation is spread over multiple interior levels connected by a staircase.
The area offers free parking, but please pay attention to blue lines (paid parking at certain hours) and yellow lines (reserved for disabled parking).
Additionally, for those who prefer, a guarded covered parking lot is available just a few steps from the house — feel free to ask me for more information.
To make your stay even more comfortable, you’ll always find a bottle of fresh water in the fridge and a set of coffee capsules for your first night.
We also provide a small welcome kit that may include a bottle of spritz, a non-alcoholic drink, soda cans, or fresh seasonal fruit — just a little touch to make you feel immediately at home.
The accommodation is equipped with an air conditioner in the main bedroom to ensure comfort during hot days; it also works as a heat pump during the colder months.
In addition, the second bedroom has a fan — perfect for a refreshing airflow. Both appliances are easy to use and will help make your stay even more enjoyable.
As for hygiene products, we provide a basic selection including toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap — all essentials for your stay.
To make your time easier, we also supply some additional cleaning products such as dish soap, degreaser, floor and mirror cleaner, and laundry detergent.
These products are provided as a convenience for guests but are not intended for deep cleaning — they are simply meant to offer extra practicality during your stay, without replacing professional cleaning services.
We also offer the possibility to book an airport transfer service (round trip), rent a car on-site, or arrange an excursion.
For any need or question, I’m always available to help make your stay as pleasant as possible.
