"The property is dated, however the new owners appear to be sinking a lot of time, money, and effort into the property and renovations. Once done, I'm sure it will be a great place to stay. Kudos to the welcoming and helpful staff! On a side note, Expedia staff is terrible. Customer service at Expedia is the least helpful of about any company I have ever dealt with. Both myself and hotel management had a terrible time trying to communicate with them when there was a system glitch at checkin. NEGATIVE stars for Expedia (once again)."

"Host is so easy to get in touch with and willing to answer any questions. Houseboat was clean, supplied and spacious. We had one couple and two singles and there was plenty of room. Bedrooms were clean, beds comfortable and sheets clean. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this VRBO and can’t recommend it enough!The house is truly fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchens were a standout stocked with every pan, utensil, and tool you’d need to cook authentic Louisiana meals, which made our experience even more special.The living spaces were perfect for both relaxing and having fun. Whether we were unwinding after a long day or playing games together, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.The owners were fantastic, responsive, thoughtful, and so easy to communicate with. They went above and beyond by offering great local suggestions that really helped make our trip unforgettable.The location was ideal and centrally located, making it easy to explore so many different activities within about an hour. We were able to enjoy experiences like airboat swamp tours, bowfishing, and more without long travel times. Plus, there’s a great grocery store just about 15 minutes away, which made stocking up super convenient.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely stay here again!"
