Britannia Mine Museum Tours and Activities

The Britannia Mine Museum between Vancouver and Whistler just off the 99. The mine is great but the Historic Mill is incredible. This was built by hand in 1921 when the mine was only accessible by boat. It's in a stunning location and is used for the movie business.

Apparently it takes over an hour to reach the top of the staircase and when it was first built there were no handrails.

Take the tour and wander around the other exhibits for an hour or so. Just a note.. the cafe is ok for a drink but the food selection isn't extensive.
