We had a very enjoyable stay and were warmly welcomed by our host. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The breakfast was delicious with cereals, fruit and cooked food on offer.

Really enjoyed the welcome of Richard and Jennifer very pleasing presence. The facilities and provision are like home from home in some respects. As you would expect good bed, light refrshment in the room tempersture control and TV with Wifi. However, we would have preferred ensuite as opposed to accessing a downstairs bathroom to freshen up. It's my fault for not noticing that detail in the booking. It served it purpose adequately for the weekend break. Onsite parking is ample. This place serves a s good base to get to either Bath or Britol in 30mns.

Perfect stay

We stayed in a twin room which was very clean and comfortable with tv, fridge and tea and coffee tray. The towels were soft, white and very fluffy. We had a view over the fields with cows in. Richard was the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, choice of cereals, grapefruit, yoghurt, full English and toast and marmalade . Highly recommend

The hosts at Windylands are second to none and were so friendly, helpful and chatty. Really nice and really excellent cooks! It was a lovely place to stay and my dog enjoyed the big back garden, while I enjoyed the breakfast. The bed was a bit too soft for my liking, but that's personal preference and I certainly wouldn't mark Windylands down for that. All in all, a wonderful stay. Thank you!
