"Calm oasis from bustle of Bristol city centre. Welcoming front desk staff, attractive building and lobby area. Rooms are spacious and clean (Deluxe twin). All areas well maintained. Plenty of parking under hotel, definite plus for Bristol city centre hotel. 4* review (not 5*) due to only one lift working in one of the buildings, and multiple times had to wait several 'turns' as full with housekeeping staff and their laundry bins or equipment, guests were left waiting, not an issue if no bags bags and able to use stairs, but frustrating if that is the case. We were woken on one night by fire alarm and evacuation at 4.30am. It was for genuine reason, however the two staff on duty that we saw did seem to struggle with updating and organising guests to evacuation points. Front desk staff next morning had been briefed and gave an apology and explanation. Toilets on LG floor need more attention towards end of day as they were not the cleanest."
