  • Welcome to Belles on Ballow, Main Lodge. This property is absolute water front set amongst an acre and a half of lush tropical gardens and boasts a lagoon style swimming pool, a jetty to fish from and a cabana to bbq and watch the sunset from. This sought-after accommodation is conveniently located in central Amity, within walking distance to Toompany Beach, The Amity Tavern, the general store, public transport, Amity jetty, boat ramp and so much more.

    Lorikeet Lodge is a gorgeous cabin within the Belles on Ballow property it consists of -

    1 Bedroom
    - 1 Queen
    - 2 Singles (bunks located in lounge area)

    - full air conditioned
    - Smart TV
    - Insect screen
    - Fully fenced cabin for pets
    - All linen supplied
    - BYO beach towels

    PLEASE NOTE: All outdoor areas are shared with other guests staying at Belles on Ballow. There are four bungalows and a main house on the property. The pool, jetty, laundry, waterfront cabana and grassed areas are communal spaces for all guests to enjoy.

Not what we were eagerly anticipating.

We were excited for our visit to Stradbroke and our stay here. The listing for this stay states "Absolute Waterfront" while the property does have ocean frontage, this cabin is tucked away at the back of the property along the road. So the waterfront views, from this description and the photos, we thought we would have while relaxing here were not to be. Other than this, the cabin was in a quiet location, clean and fully fenced. We appreciated it being dog-friendly and it's well suited for that. The main bed could do with an upgrade as it sagged significantly.
