Convenient location
This was a good location for visiting Brighton - walking along the pier was a nice way to end the day and local amenities were close by. Buses to other sites of interest run nearby - the Seven Sisters Country Park was an easy trip and worthwhile visit. Having the check in information a few days in advance was helpful because it is not at the site of the flat.

Our May break in Brighton
We decided to visit Brighton at long last, and chose our apartment with care...we were not disappointed at all. The flat is very well appointed, and comfortable. Its location is fabulous, right at the heart of the eclectic mix of Kemptown, its shops, restaurants and cultures. It is only a 2 min walk to the main esplanade, and pier. The sea is visible from the sitting-room, and we were greeted with the rising sun over breakfast. Apart from Brighton's main features, there are many wonderful places to visit in close proximity...we loved it!

Excellent holiday let
We have stayed in a lot of places and this one is, all round, a truly excellent holiday let : perfect location, reasonable price, tasteful decor, warm, comfortable and well-equipped. Owner is responsive and helpful with a sensible arrangement for key collection. We've only ever done day-trips before but will hope to stay here again for more exploring and living the Brighton life. Loved it!

Initially the property seemed to be good but in the evening we couldn't get any heating on, it was late so wrapped ourselves in the duvet. When we went to bed we placed coats and jumpers on the bed to keep warm. Next day we contacted host who gave us a number to ring but no response. After another phone call she sent someone who had a try but couldn't get it working either so it was another cold night! The next day we went into Brighton and decided to stay out till bedtime and kept warm in coffee shops and a bar. When we did return 2 portable heaters had been left. Sorry, too late!! Left early next morning.

Very nice place to stay! Good communication with property management who provided great amounts of information on the whole area in and around Brighton. The flat has all the extras of home - very well equipped kitchen, spacious living room and bedroom, well appointed bathroom. Great location with plenty of pubs, clubs and restaurants nearby; plus a very fine Indian restaurant only steps from front door. Grocery stores close by too. Easy walking distance to the Pier and The Lanes. If you have heavy luggage - beware! 40+ steps from street level to flat's front door. Picking up keys was a bit convoluted, ending in an 17GBP taxi ride from station to flat. Overall: great location, made even better with the great weather we enjoyed. Recommended.

Nice historic part of Brighton, nice Gardens outside, shops, pubs almost at your door, not far to walk to Brighton Pier. Plenty to do and see. It's our 1st visit to Brighton we came to see The Who but stayed 3 nights. Liked the views from the apartment and great for people watching. Vrbo discription says 2 flights of stairs, there are 4 flights obviously historic buildings have much taller ceilings so maybe this is why there are 4 flights of stairs. There were a few problems with cleanliness (oven etc) and the printed welcome pack was stained and old (1st impressions) but the owners have apologised and say they are getting a deep clean done so should all be good. The Towels weren't fluffy (as in discription) and I couldn't see what's romantic. It's a shame because we will visit Brighton again but just not sure of where we'd stay now. Download the Taxi app on your phone, it's so easy to book a taxi, we used 202020 Taxi company. Brighton is worth the visit though.

Owner freindly and helpful. Flat better than expected, cosy, comepletely modernised. Loud traffic, parking in Brighton is a catastrophy but there are more buses than taxis. If you don't like pubs and never eat out holiday somewhere else.

Loved this apartment! It was clean, cozy, and simply but tastefully decorated. Very comfortable. Our son was able to join us for an eat-in meal at the dining table. Loved the proximity to restaurants and a grocery and the beach. Bus stop right down the street took us out to Seven Sisters Country Park for a short hike too! Highly recommend for a couple.

Great location and view!
This was a really wonderful property with a great view! Very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. A bit tight for space with a family of 4 (with teenagers) but would be very spacious for a couple. Location however was fantastic to walk along the pier and to the many wonderful shopping areas. Locating the key pickup point was initially a bit confusing as it was in a convenience store but once we found it and picked them up we had no issue making our way to the apartment. It was a really nice touch to find a guestbook and add our family to the list of guests. It was also very handy to have a grocery store right across the street. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful Brighton
Brighton was on our daughters bucket list ! We spent 3 days in this beautiful and unique city. Flat was a perfect place to come home to rest after exploring each day! Communication was excellent, flat was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short get a way ! Thanks Jess !

Very close to local amenities, restaurants, points of interest. Also a reasonable walk from Brighton train station if you are familiar with the area. Location is also very private. I’ll definitely stay again in future.

Perfect Location, Cute Apartment!
The apartment is amazingly located in Kempton overlooking the sea and a park, easily walkable to the beach, pier, and many bars and restaurants. The unit is bright with a nice breeze when you open the windows, has a nice kitchen with anything you might need.

Had to pick key up from newsagent 10 mins walk away who was curt and sour faced. Apartment was great situation and spacious. Cleaning left a bit to be desired, moved the sofa away from the radiator and lots of crumbs and bits of paper and also kitchen floor could do with a good scrub. However, bathroom and rest of kitchen clean and bed was cosy. Would certainly book again in the future.

Perfect Apartment for Family Short Stay
Being a family with two children aged 10 and 7 we wanted a self catering apartment rather than hotel and this was perfect. So close to the pier, Sealife Centre and Pavilion. The Lanes were 10 min walk away and we were totally spoilt with choice for places to eat. Parking was a little difficult bit after a few laps of the green we got a space and paid via an app for our entire stay. Only little niggle we had was the comfort of the sofa bed, this could be easily rectified with a mattress topper though. We very much hope to come back again.

Amazing. Views. Location. Location. Location.
This is a great flat. I know flights of stairs might deter some, but up the stairs is a fabulous flat with an efficient kitchen, an oversized bedroom, and a great dining area. I spend part of my day working from the dining room table with its beautiful views. To pick up the keys, I messaged my very responsive host and met the housekeeper at the house. She graciously allowed me to move in a few hours early--which suited my schedule very well. It was absolutely perfect for a few days in Brighton! Upon return, this will be a property that I seek out. Thank you.

Apartment was amazing and absolutely close to everything.the sea view was spectacular. The only thing that surprised me was that no one else has mentioned the noise that was generated from the park opposite all day and night,which when in the heat and windows having to be open was not ideal ,but hey you are on holiday so shouldn't be in the apartment that often anyway😁

We’re so sorry you experienced noise during your stay. This hasn't happened for other guests. Very occasionally people gather in small groups and can be a bit enthusiastic. This was very likely to have been an excited reaction to the easing of lockdown restrictions and will have settled down now that clubs have reopened. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the apartment nevertheless.

Fabulous stay
My wife and I had a great week, the property is presented to a lovely standard and is situated just a minutes walk from the seafront. Everything was spot on, linen and towels were fresh and the property had a great view of the sea from the bay window. Thoroughly recommended and we hope to stay again.

The area around the apartment is a bit rundown in places, but it was really close to the sea front and shops and bars, so it wasn’t that big a deal. The apartment itself was nicely laid out and clean, as we are of the older generation we found the two flights of stairs to the second floor a bit of a struggle, especially whilst unloading the car and trying to keep the traffic warden at bay as there were no meter places when we arrived only double yellow lines. There was always plenty of hot water and the shower pressure was brilliant, In order to get the central heating on you are pointed to the heating control manual under the coffee table, you had to decipher the manual to get the heating on, I think that this process could be explained simply on a piece of paper next to the heater control without having to go through four pages in the manual. Overall we had a really nice time in a nice apartment and would recommend it to friends and family, the host Jess was really helpful in all her communication which I would like to thank her for.

Thanks for your feedback George, it’s really appreciated and always good to know what works for guests as well as what doesn't. We list that the Apartment is on the second floor but obviously it isn’t as clear as I thought. I will have a look at making this transparent to potential guests. Great idea to have easier to follow instructions on the wall, I’ll get onto that - thanks so much for the suggestion!

A lovely flat 5 minutes walking from the Pier and the city centre and with an amazing view on the beach. The location is incredible, the flat is well equipped and perfectly functional. Pretty flat, perfect location
Pretty flat, perfectly located for downtown Brighton. Unusually well-equipped kitchen for a short term rental. Relatively quiet - keep the windows closed if you don't like an avian dawn chorus! :) (we did like it). Wonderful sea views, great for people watching in New Steine Square. Loads of eating/shopping possibilites nearby, and buses, taxis etc. Parking (for a longer stay) gets expensive, but you can usually find a meter in the Square if you drive around a couple of times.

2 week quarantine visit
My husband (UK) and I (USA) stayed here while I had to quarantine coming from the states and it was a great place to do so. I picked it based on the view of the ocean and it delivered. The park outside was great for me to exercise during the day and it was close to everything. My husband was within a short walk to the grocery stores, tourist attractions and the lanes. Our only complaint really was the loud neighbor above us. You could hear them walking around a lot while sitting in the living room. You couldn't hear them in the bedroom, which was good. As far as the kitchen, it was well equipped for all our cooking needs. There was even items such as olive oil and some spices that you may not need to get from the store. I'd recommend the owner get maybe one more set of towels for people staying longer. One set of towels each for 2 weeks and then to wait for the towel to dry was a little inconvenient for shower time, but not the end of the world. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend for long or short stay!

Smart apartment in the heart of Brighton
It is a small apartment, nicely decorated with everything you need. Close to the beach and shops in Kemp town and a short walk from The Laines. Excellent for children as everything is close by and many lovely restaurants to eat in.

I stayed here for a week. Had everything I could have ask for. The location was great,and we really enjoyed the staying. The only thing I’d prefer to be different was a more comfortable roll on bed for the kid. That one was extremely small and uncomfortable,but we managed. Otherwise I totally recommend this staying.

Easy check-in. Clare kindly accommodated our lateish arrival. Everything was as expected, with great facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. Location was amazing with a view across New Steine to the sea. Very little noise in spite of central kemptown location. A great stay

This place has everything we could want- it’s central with everything just a few minutes walk but it feels peaceful. There’s a proper sea view when you’re sitting at the table- you don’t have to crane your neck or lean out of the window! We loved our stay and intend to return.

Wonderful!
The flat was very comfortable and well kitted-out with everything we needed. It is in a row of beautiful tall Georgian (?) houses overlooking a small green original features include a bow bay window which is the best place to sit and watch the sea or local life. Very light bright and airy. Perfect location off of St James's Street in Kemptown - I couldn't imagine a lovelier place to stay in Brighton.
