"Our group had the Backyard Campground all to ourselves on a wonderful Friday evening. Doug (owner) met us at the entrance and gave us a quick tour before pointing us back towards our campsites. We thoroughly enjoyed the riverside sites overlooking his neighbor's beautiful farm. Firewood was provided and the portable restrooms were sparklingly clean. Would love to come back and stay again next time."

"House was great, but not quite our cup of tea. Doesn’t have much character and just felt a little stiff. Cons: Couch wasn’t comfortable bc of the pull out bed springs, they didn’t have k-cups stocked for coffee, and the remote wasn’t working too well. There was also a barking dog in the neighborhood, luckily didn’t bark at night and was only annoying a few different times. Saying most of this for the rental company to resolve, which I’m sure they will. Pros: Communication was great when needed. Hot tub worked well and the outdoor space was lovely. Hammock was just perfect. Location is great, easy to get to other places around Brevard and in Pisgah National Park. Overall, it was just ok for us compared to other places we’ve stayed, but probably more so based on personal preference. "
