Before booking, I called and spoke to someone with the listing company - I asked why there was no prior review. I was told that the room I was renting was recently renovated and no one had stayed yet. When I checked in, I did not get the room in the pictures and was told at the checkin desk that there was never any guarantee that I would get the rooms in the pictures on the listing. She was very nice and let us pick a different room as the one she initially put us in was dated and on the street. The 2nd room was much better, but still not the one in the listing.I have booked this property through VRBO several times in the past (although not with this listing company) and have NEVER had this happen before.
