"Good house for family with kids. Well equipped kitchen with fantastic coffee making machine. Not suitable if you are towing a boat - very difficult to get a boat in the driveway and no place for a boat to park outside. Good beds with fresh linen. BBQ, cupboards and under the beds and furniture wasn’t clean. However, the house is nicely furnished and worked very well for our family. We would stay there again if we weren’t towing the boat."

Often the little things are overlooked because of the nature of short term rentals, but this is not the case here. The owners clearly care about the people staying and have provdied the level of comfort you would apply to your own home. "Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. "Great location, opposite lagoon, walk along the boardwalk to the ocean. True to advertising. Really enjoyed our time. Only things to be aware of that the veranda doesn't have a banister and there isn't any front fencing. The backyard is fully fenced and secure, however the front and rear doors do not open directly into yard, only an issue if you have a pet. A couple of issues with cleaning, the oven and the BBQ weren't clean. The vacuum cleaner was held together with duct tape which fell apart....
