"Loved the space & the location. Loved that there were essentially 2 bedrooms (converted living room). It was tricky getting around by car initially as the wifi was not great in the town & many streets are one-way or not for motorists, but walking around was easier. I recommend downloading offline maps to make sure you get there. Owner also provided written directions, which were helpful, but then we lost our way when looking for parking (we had to wait as we arrived there during their lunch break). "

"Hotel was easy to get to, especially if you are new to driving in Italy (like myself!) No ZTL if you enter through Porta Romana. Valet parking made it super easy. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even held my rental car post check out so I could attend a local meeting. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very comfortable as well. Thank you to the staff for making my family’s stay easy for us!"

"Milva’s Nest was absolutely the perfect apartment for us in Orvieto! Simona and her husband, Luca, were outstanding hosts from making sure we knew where to park to checking in on us daily. Literally the most comfortable bed and pillows that left us feeling so refreshed everyday! The apartment is decorated to make you feel right at home. She included wonderful recommendations on dining and activity options. The view from the apartment has outstanding views of the hillside. People come to this area for the views and we had it every morning and night from the balcony and windows. We would love to come back again when we are back in Orvieto!"

"We visited Orvieto in mid-November, and had the pleasure of staying at Casa Serafina. Fausto was communicative and helpful leading up to our arrival and at check-in- we were sorry that we did not speak Italian to be able to talk with him more easily. He directed us to the covered parking, which was very convenient, as we could just leave the car there rather than navigate the usual hill town streets. The apartment was wonderful- nicely decorated, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, quite usable kitchen- and convenient to the city center. Fausto left extensive information about the area and sights, as well as a nice bottle of wine. I am not sure why the questions about the vineyard come up in the VRBO review form- we did not see a vineyard. But we had a great stay. My husband commented on the excellent coffee in the apartment each day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Orvieto and enjoys exploration on foot. Orvieto was one of our favorite places on this trip through Umbria and Tuscany."
