"The hotel staff were friendly, the room was fabulously spacious and comfortable. Great location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Disabled access was a little awkward as the entrance was along a long windy corridor with some tight turns but it didn't detract from the overall experience. Breakfast was superb. We loved it. The gym could do with a revamp as it is a little tired and the machines are old. "

"Four of us spent a night here and really enjoyed our brief stay in Sundsvall at the Knaust Hotel. The building has been lovingly restored and is clearly a local institution. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks in the Bishops Arms bar and breakfast was excellent, served in a very imposing wood panelled room.
